I got a call from Effie as soon as Freddie had left telling me to go over to hers as soon as possible. Her and Panda had been to pick up some spliff and they met a boy who 'panda had eyes for' apparently she was sick all at a bus stop because of some donuts.

I made my way across the street and saw Effie walking up the street with panda and the new boy.

"Hi I'm Thomas it's nice to meet you." He smiled.

"Hey," I gave him a weak smile.

"This way." Effie commanded. She nodded her head towards the red door and we all followed.

"Wow your house." Thomas gazed around.

"What?" Effie shrugged.

"Its incredible."

"Yeah, bring the dozy cow up here." Effie instructed.

Thomas brought panda up the stairs and sat her down. I wiped some sick of her mouth using her shirt.

"I think these donuts is not good for you." Thomas smiled at pandora.

"Yeah that must be it." I looked at him "Alex by the way." I held out my hand and he shook it rather harshly.

We began to hear some odd sounds and Effie went off looking for her mum. She found her half naked with a man who definitely wasn't her dad.

Effie ran into her room.

"Stay with her." I said to Thomas, he looked over at panda who still looked like shit,

I knocked on Effies  door.

"Go away." I heard her sniffle.

"It's me." I said gently.

I got no answer so I gently opened the door. Effie was curled up on the floor at the foot of her bed. I made my way over to her and held my arms out. She practically leaped into them, melting against me. Her face was damp with tears and her eyes red. I stroked her hair gently and kissed her forehead.

"It's going to be okay eff." I reassured her. "Like we always said, at least we still have each other."

Me and Effie had been though hell and back together. Our whole lived we've been best friends and she helped me when my dad was murdered and I helped her when tony got injured. We've pushed a shit ton of drugs together and probably done more.

"I love you." She said.

It was rare that she did but that made it even more special knowing that she truly meant it.

"I love you too eff." I held her in my arms.
