I stormed into my house---the one that I grew up in, and I was extremely angry, “Mother. I need to talk to you.”

I stood at the bottom of the staircase, waiting for her to come down.

Ever since my father had died, she just seemed to not care about anything else but the company. She has been continuously calling me over the past few weeks, asking if the stocks at the company were doing alright.

“I'm coming,” her voice called from above, and I waited for her impatiently as she descended down the stairs. She gestured for me to go and sit down in the living room.

“What's wrong, my son?” She asked, “Are you very stressed? Did you finally decide to visit Mommy because you're lonely and sad?”

I gave her a disgusted look and she sneered.

“Stop being so rude, I can take the company from you anytime, you know. You're not my real son. You're just the son of some slut your father happened to love and picked off the streets,” she smirked at me.

She wasn't my biological mother. She was my father's wife. But my father fell in love with a maid in the mansion, and they had an affair. Thus, I came along. My 'mother', who was and still is infertile, found out about it, and took me away from my mother, I don't know where my mother is today, but I hope she's doing well.

“That's what you think,” I smirked back, “But what if I told you that father wrote in his will that I would get the company when he died?”

“He would do no such thing.”

Then what is this?” I reached into my blazer and pulled out a thin stack of papers and slapped it onto the table in front of me. She reached over and grabbed it, scanning through the contents, her eyes widening in shock and rage.

“WHAT IS THIS NONSENSE?!” She ripped it up into shreds and she pointed at me, “YOU! YOU'RE LYING!”

“No, I'm not,” I said, “And don't worry about ripping it up, I already send the originals to a lawyer. He's pending them right now. And as soon as he's done, I'm kicking you out of this house. Don't worry though, I'll give you some money to help you out.”

“You can't do this to me!” She screamed at me, “And I still have access to your fortune anyways! You know your fiancé Karen? She's my daughter that your father never knew about! I had her before I met your father.”

I gave her a disgusted look, “She's your daughter?!”

“Yes,” she smirked, “And you love Min Hee too much to divorce with her. So technically, you can't throw me out.”

“Who said I loved her?”

The smirked wiped off of her face immediately, and she paled, grabbing me by the legs, kneeling on the floor, begging me.

“Please… Please Tristan,” she pleaded, “Don't do this to me!”

I gave her no pity.

“You think this is horrible? Think about what you've done to me and April?"

“But she's scum! My Min Hee is royalty! There is no comparison!” She said and I gave her an annoyed look.

“That's for me to decide, not you.”

I shook her off of me.

“I expect the two of you to be out of my life in exactly a week.”
