Chapter 13 (Book II)

I rang the doorbell, waiting nervously for her to open up.

I found out the truth.

The other side of the story I didn't know.

The door opened, and April was about to greet me with a smile, until she saw it was me, and her face paled.

“Who are you?” She asked nervously, and I shook my head sadly.

“Don't lie Hye Mi, you do know me.”

She said nothing and broke down to the floor sobbing. I knelt down with her to the ground, tears silently streaking down my cheeks too, “I'm so sorry April, I'm so sorry.”

She shook her head, sobbing into my shoulders.

I embraced her in my arms, feeling complete after so many years.

“What's going on umma?” A cute little girl asked as she peeked from behind the door.

“Is this our daughter?” I asked April, pulling her out of embrace slightly. We looked at each other in the eye and she looked away, biting her lips, and nodded.

“Come here, jagiya, it's your father!” I cheerfully said through my tears, pulling her into my arms, and hugging april at the same time.

“Huh?” The little girl cutely asked, he eyes widening.

She was right in between the two of us.

The three of us were together again and nothing will separate us.

I'm being squashed!”

 

 

Her small, little voice was muffled.

April and I laughed at her cuteness.

I let the two of them go and ruffled the little girl's hair.

“What's your name?” I asked her.

“My name is Princess Lee !” She happily exclaimed.
