"Forbidden Love"

Chapter 5

Afterwards, for every single Sunday we met up, we would meet up in the abandoned warehouse, and then roam the streets of Seoul together, our hands interlocked with each others', contentedly walking leisurely through the throng of people.

The one day that seems to replay in my head like a broken record was the one Sunday it was raining.We were walking together on the streets, when it had suddenly begun to rain.

The two of us had run and ducked underneath a bus shelter, laughing as we both shivered from the cold.

“This is your entire fault,” I said as I lightly pushed Tristan.

He pouted, “How is it my fault?”

“You were the one who insisted on walking outside when I begged for you to just stay in the café and just talk.”

“You're just lazy!” Tristan said, blowing up his cheeks at me.

I pinched his cheeks, “Says the guy who runs slower than I do.”

“Hmph!” Tristan pouted as I chuckled. We stayed there together under the bus shelter, when he suddenly back hugged me, “We should hug so we can keep warm.”

I blushed, not replying to him as I buried my face into his neck.

When the skies cleared, we came out from underneath the bus shelter, hand in hand.

“Look! A rainbow April! Isn't it so beautiful?!” Tristan excitedly pounced around dancing in the middle of the street like an idiot, making me dance with him.

A rainbow was arched across the sky, and it made me wonder if just like the rain and the rainbow---would Tristan and I be able to brave through anything that came to us? Will there be a happy ending for us?

he two of us come from different worlds---he's rich, I'm poor. He has everything and I have nothing. He has parents who bugged him to death when I had no parents at all.

How will the story of us end?

Will it be happy or sad?
