At the funeral home, all was quiet as I stood there, the words the priest was muttering fell deaf to my ears as I stared blankly at my father's portrait in front of me.

His death still hasn't quite sunk in. Nor has what he has left in his will that I had found in my safe at my house yesterday.

I looked over fleetingly to my mother who stood beside me, and like always, she was the cold emotionless one.

She didn't shed a single tear.

I sometimes wonder what Dad was going to tell me.

Because based on the coldness my mother was giving off, and the horrible last words she spoke to him, I knew it was nothing that she had wanted me to know.

But what?

I was walking down the long rows of the tombstones after the burial ceremony, and saw someone familiar to me.

I ran up to the man.

“Hey, where is April?”

The man gave me a confused look.

“Hye Mi? Who's that?”

“I'm Tristan Lee,” I said as I held out my hand, “Do you not remember me?”

He looked blankly at me, but then it seemed to all have dawned in a second as he gave me a small smile and held out his hand, “Jung Jinyoung.”

“So, how is Hye Mi?” I asked him, and he gave an uncomfortable smile and told me, “I don't know.”

“How could you not know?” I exploded, and he told me to back off, because it was disrespectful to cause a scene at the cemetery.

He took out a business card from his wallet and placed it in my fisted palm, “Call me. I'll make time for you and explain everything to you when you've cooled down.”

I clenched and unclenched my fists, thinking about April. What was her game? Why wasn't she with this Jinyoung guy anymore?

Who is she with now then?

what the hell did I mean to her?
