“Princess,” I said as I picked up my little girl, “Did you know that this was where your mother and I's favourite place to go out and have fun?”
We were at the park together, and had a nice picnic under a shady tree. Now, Princess and I were playing in the field, with April watching us closely from underneath the tree.
I swung her around and she giggled happily.
“Appa,” Princess said, “You make Princess so happy!”
“Really?” I smiled happily, “Princess makes me happy!”
“But!” Princess giggled, “Umma makes Princess happier!”
Ouch.
I pouted, “That's not nice Princess! You should say, umma and appa both make me really happy!”
She stuck out her tongue at me, and I frowned, pouting and setting her down on the grass.
“That's not nice Princess!"
“I like umma more, because she's more mature!” My daughter said, giggling as she ran away from me to her mother.
