The Duchesses of Star Base 12

Lady Karissa, Third Duchess Consort of Norfolk Territory

Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann Howard nee Lowell is the third Duchess-Consort of Norfolk Territory and she is married to Lord Andrew Charles Howard, fifth Duke of Norfolk Territory who the youngest son of Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR and Lady Patricia Eugenie Stuart.

Lord Andrew Charles Howard becomes the fifth Duke of Norfolk of Territory on June 2, 2275 with Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann by his side and she becomes the third wife out of five Dukes of  Norfolk Territory to have the covenant Howard Tiara bestowed upon her.

The only two other wives to receive it were- Lady Margaret Penelope Devereux and Lady Alexandra Elizabeth Churchill.

Neither Lady Jeannette Virginia Beaufort or Lady Patricia Eugenie Stuart received it despite the fact that both of them gave their husbands a son the first time around.

It was Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR on the ascension day who placed the Howard tiara upon Lady Karissa's head and Lady Patricia who placed the consort robes upon her shoulders along with Lord Andrew Charles.

Lady Karissa made it clear to Lord Andrew Charles " You govern this damn territory by yourself. It is your demon to do so, and I wish you good luck."  Lady Karissa tells him.

"You may have bitten off more than your could  chew, Lord Andrew Charles ." Lady Karissa states,  "Don't usper your power, I have seen mightier men fall before you." 

"Don't become like Ghangis Khan, Adolph Hitler, or any such man as such men have fallen." Lady Karissa states.

"Furthermore,  I have a few things I wish to discuss with you. I want to reinstate Lord Frederick William Howard JR's and Lord Richard Edward Howard JR's family."  Lady Karissa asks. 

"I want you to do away this barbaric, archaic, practice of pre-arranged marriages on Star Base 12." Lady Karissa asks.

"I want you to establish absolute primogeniture on Star Base 12  as well." Lady Karissa states.

Lord Andrew Charles looks at Lady Karissa " I will do what you request." 

"The first thing Lord Andrew Charles Howard does is reinstate in Lord Frederick William Howard JR line back into the line of succession and he created Lord Frederick William Howard III, Duke of Gloucester Territory in the name of his great-great-great-grandfather, Lord Patrick William Howard and he reinstates Lord Richard Edward Howard JR family back into the line of succession and he creates Lord Richard Edward Howard JR the Duke of Wessex Territory in the name of his great-great-great-grandfather, Lord Patrick William Howard.

The second act he does is to  abolish the archaic practice of pre-arrangement  marriages throughout Star Base 12 whereas all aristocrats may marry for love and who they choose..

The biggest change comes with the Law of absolute primogeniture which states is a law in which the eldest child of the sovereign succeeds to the throne, regardless of gender, and females (and their descendants) enjoy the same right of succession as males.

No more may younger brothers replace a older sister by virtue of his sex and she has the same rights than her brother.

All the mothers hear the news that their eldest daughters will inherit their father's property and title and their brothers can't take it way.

It took 200 years to bring this change to Star Base 12 ever since the arrival of Lord Patrick William Howard the 1st Duke of Norfolk Territory.

Along with getting rid of other aristocratic nonsense such as archaic practices of pre-arranged marriages and other hype that Lady Karissa would not adhere  too.

Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann Howard made sure that daughters would inherit the same rights that their brothers had and they would succeed their fathers as Duchesses, Countesses, Viscountess, and all other titles and no younger son could ever be given it again.
