Jared's POV:
I had finally arrived back to DC. Of course Dean and Aaron knew what was up. I walked into the drop off/pick up area, there I see Aaron and Dean.
"J!" Dean called out. I did miss these goofs though not gonna lie.
"Ay thanks for picking me up" I looked over to Aaron. He smirked at me and came over to me and gave me a hug.
"Sup bro how was your trip?"
"Oh you know same ol same ol."
He nodded and we started walking towards the car. I felt somewhat nervous about seeing Rosie. I know I shouldnt since I called things off before I started falling deeper.I still felt uneasy though. I kept thinking the whole plane ride thinking I should at least try calling her and explaining.
"So J, did you bring back something for me?" Dean asked from the backseat. Aaron was weirdly quiet though.
"You good there bro? You have been a little too quiet."
"Bro I am ALWAYS quiet, why you acting like this new?" Smartass.
"Shut up, You know what I mean, you always talking when you around us, why you acting brand new for? could it be a girl?"
"WHAT?! Nah bro, you got it all wrong-"
"Oh yeah Aaron has been talking to someone, I haven't met her or anything but it seems like he is in Love." Dean proclaimed
"Bro do you ever just shut up? why you lyin?" Dean held up his hands in surrender.
"Touchy touchy" dean did shut up though, good thing because he would be talking my ear off if he knew I didn't get him nothing.
" Hey, we about to it up the diner, the crew wanna see you, is that alright?"
" Nah bro I am a little tired. You know jetlag and everything."
"Alright I will just let them know, we will just meet up after school tomorrow." The ride back to my house was short. But I needed to see her.
"Thanks for the ride boys. I will see you tomorrow."
"AND DONT FORGET MY GIFT!" Dean yelled once I got to my door.
I waited until the boys drove away and quickly grabbed my keys from the house and drove off.
As much as I hated this feeling, but I am being a little suspicious.
" I AM LITERALLY PARKED OUTSIDE HER HOUSE!" I thought out loud.
"I can't do this." I said, putting the gear on drive and left. I couldn't do this, not to me and more importantly not to Rosie. I can't stand the thought that I cant even fight for her. Because in the end I will be hurt when its time to announce their engagement.
'Why him? was I not your son either? Did you even consider me?!'
I need to get it together. I need something to distract me.
I drove to the diner where everyone was at. I walked in and was greeted by everyone.
"Hey! Was beginning to wonder where you ran off to?" Joan the waitress said.
" Hey Joan, I was in New York, visiting family." She got me my usual meal and proceeded with her duties.
"So where's my gift?!" Dean persisted.
" Sorry I didn't actually get you anything."
Hey feigned a gasp. Held his hand towards his chest in an 'Im offended' type of way.
