The Jin Brothers

Rosie's POV

"ROSIE! IT'S 12PM YOU GOTTA GET READY OR ELSE YOU WILL BE LATE" I love the Getting a lecture so early in the morning. I thought.

Grabbing my phone from my lamp desk I turn over to see it was 12:30. The "date" was Scheduled for 1:15 and I found myself rushing to the shower.

"Shit!" I was suppose to wear the clothes my mother had picked out but I was really wanting to just wear something casual. I ended up wearing a red jumpsuit with a pair of black heels. I tied my long  brunette hair into a low ponytail after standing in front of the mirror for a hot minute I grabbed my things and rushed out.

"Bye dad!"

"Rosie, you forgetting something?" I looked back at my dad who was sitting in the living room holding the keys to the car.

"Can't you throw them? I am in heels and you know how I get when I had already walked in them after a while"

Dad was mocking me as he was walking towards me. What a child.

"Here You Go princess. "

"Thank you! Bye bye"

"Drive safely eh! You are not filming fast n the furious okay." I just waved off his comment and tried hard not to trip and fall.

You would think after how many fancy dinner parties and carpeted events I would be used to heels but no. In reality I wear the heels to take pictures and as soon as we get inside the building I am in slippers or flats, and then wear the heels as am i about to leave.

I finally got to the cafe that we agreed to meet in and I checked myself, making sure I looked at least somewhat like decent human being.

Satisfied I entered the cafe. Trying to calm my nervous heart. A beautiful girl came to view.

"Hi can I help you?"

"Yes um, I am looking for a man named Anthony Jin?"

"Ah yes. He is just up those stairs and he is seated towards the back of the room."

I said my thanks and made my way up. The cafe was beautiful and looked like a great place to enjoy some coffee and chat with friends.

"Hi I am so sorry I am late." I greeted the handsome gentleman in front of me. He looked at me and his eyes widen a bit. All of a sudden I heard a familiar voice.

"Rosie?" I turned to see Jared sitting to my left. I looked at him stunned, curious why he was right here in front of me when I literally was with him late last night.

"Jared?" I stuttered.

"What are you doing here?" We both said in unison

" I- I well."

"You two know each other?"

"Well if you were home yesterday you would of already met my friend from DC."

Jared then leaned over and whispered to Anthony.

"Also she is THE Kaleb White's daughter and the heiress to the company that dad wants partnership with."

"I kinda figured that last one but I didn't know that you were Kaleb White's daughter. I assume you have a name so let me formally introduce myself." He held out his hand and beamed a gorgeous smile.

"Hello, my name is Anthony Jin, It is a pleasure."

"Please the pleasure is all mine, sorry I am late. Great first impression huh."

"That's okay. I didn't mind waiting. I can't speak for Jared boy here but I was fine."

"Yeah right, You would've already left if i hadn't stopped you-" What I am currently seeing right now is Anthony's hand over Jared mouth along with a "shut up" glare on his face.

Jared held his hands up in surrender, as Anthony finally released his " Death grip" Jared being the drama queen he is. He started to cough as if he really couldn't breathe.

I was motioned to sit down. I waited for the waitress to come and take our order.

We quickly skipped the casual talk and got straight down to business. Anthony at this point was presenting his logic and thesis about his fathers company.

" Anthony to be completely honest. I believe you have an amazing presentation but I feel that you should save that for my dad. Not that I don't want to listen, I just want to leave the business talk and just hang out."

" Look with all due respect Rosie. I thought this "date" was supposed to be considered somewhat of a casual business meeting."

" Well If you want I can arrange for you to have a personal meeting with my father, you know the one that actually owns the company in which you are trying to partner with." Jared snickered causing Anthony to blush.

"Sorry, well what do you say we ditch this third-wheel and go do something fun?" He motioned towards Jared who faked a over dramatic insulted look.

"Well I know when I am not wanted, Good day!" He flipped his "Hair" (Ear) and walked out of the restaurant with great sass in his steps.

Anthony hid his face in embarrassment. My phone dinged with a message from the one and only

J : "Have fun! have him home by 10! 🤪"

R : " You got it😂😉"

"Shall we?" We sat in his car for a little while we debated on where we should go hang out for the remainder of the afternoon.

"Central park? Wanna watch a musical? or I don't know eat?" Anthony seemed really nervous. He also gives off the impression that he hasn't dated much. I am not one to talk because I am a total homebody.

"Hmm let me ask. Are you in the mood to sweat today?"

Anthony had a genuine look of confusion written in his features.

"I can't say I am good at sports but I feel like getting a workout in while playing a generally small selection of sports."

He beamed a gorgeous smile my direction.

"You're on tesoro( treasure)

Jared's POV

J : "Have fun! have him home by 10! 🤪"

I chuckled to myself. Only because I know how much Anthony was nervous about this little set up. He normally wouldn't agree to such a proposal but I don't really what changed his mind this time around.

R : " You got it😂😉"

I chuckled at her response. I knew this girl had a sense of humor. Maybe that's why I am falling for her.

I can never tell her that though.  I don't know I mean Chris is still back in DC and I don't know along the line I lost love for her. Rosie excites me she brings out the little kid in me.

Not to mention Aaron likes her too. I don't want to get mixed up with the whole love triangle thing.

But I will tell you this. Aaron isn't at all who he shows to be, With Rosie at least.

I'm not gonna give up on her. I will win her over fair and square.

Hello My Beautiful Readers!!
This chapter took forever only because I recently moved!!! So now that I have settled in my new fast paced city. I have time to upload now that I am currently unemployed. But till then I have more exciting chapters planned ahead and I cannot wait for you to read them.!!

I apologize for the long wait but I don't have a reason now not to be updating. Plus I have big news to share about my first book "Her Secret" I will be posting that news on my home page so stay tune!
