"IF I TOLD YOU, IT WOULD RUIN THE MAGIC"

The freshly acquainted pair walked down yet another white hallway, Bonnie moving a little slower than usual, being mindful of Milo's tired limbs.

Silence lingered between them.

"So", Bonnie started, "I see you were born in 2004, which makes you 17"

Milo shrugged.

"Yeah, so? How old are you?"

"18", she replied, her shoulders mimicking Milo's shrug with a little more enthusiasm, " that makes me older"

Milo raised an eyebrow, not seeing the significance.

Bonnie sighed.

"It means you have to do as I say, I'm responsible for your introduction to this place. I gotta make sure you settle in nicely"

"Is that why you're giving me the tour?"

"Yep"

No further words were exchanged.

As they walked Milo looked down at himself and noticed his wounded knuckles were now bandaged.

But more importantly, he was in a new set of clothes.

A white long sleeve, grey joggers and white slippers that Bonnie had gifted him before leaving the room.

Milo knew that he had been naked under those thin garments and looked to Bonnie in suspicion.

Bonnie met his eyes and gave him one swift look over.

Her cheeks were suddenly dusted with a light pink as she realised Milo's assumption.

"I didn't change you", she explained sharply, not liking his silent accusation.

Milo frowned his eyebrows, not entirely happy with her answer.

It's not like he wanted her to change him, it was the fact that some stranger had seen his body.

'It would've been a stranger either way', he thought, signing, a pout making its way to his full lips.

"Okay!", Bonnie said, as they stopped at a door, "Welcome to Paradise."

Bonnie pressed her hand against the octagon-shaped tab and the chic white doors slid open.

'Paradise' may have been a stretch, but Milo was definitely impressed.

The doors opened up to the main hall that was lined with a collection of restaurants and cafes.

People of all ages and backgrounds moved and live among each other, all exhibiting the same white hair.

However, some heads were blonder than others.
