A couple of days had passed since their incarceration within the hall and to the minds of the blissfully ignorant, everything seemed normal.
Milo, Bonnie, Sam and Tim had quite enjoyed their time together and although the couple held pressing suspensions, they found joy in one another's company.
Milo and Bonnie had secretly wished that they could have some time alone, even for a few moments.
Although it may have been inappropriate, Bonnie wanted to experience what she felt that night with Milo again. Secretly, Milo shared the same wishes.
However, with Sam and Tim now knowing of their relationship, they couldn't so much as smile at each other without them screaming in excitement.
Sam and Tim treated the situation as one big sleepover, gossiping to their heart's content.
Their days were filled with jokes and laughter and everything seemed ordinary.
All until it wasn't.
BEEP.
AN INTERGATE HAS BREACHED THE SYSTEM.
BEEP.
Milo was jolted from his slumber by an alarm he'd never heard before.
Everyone in the hall was up on their feet, rushing around the space that seemed to get smaller and smaller the louder they got.
Confused, Milo stumbled to his feet, trying his best to sift through the bodies of blurred terror to find the people who really mattered.
Through the haze, he could make out the blond figure of a special woman.
Which out a moment of hesitation, he pushed through the torsos, reaching out to her.
Grabbing her wrist, he spun her to face him.
"Bonnie", he signed, relieved to have found her.
He took her face into his hands as he studied her features, searching for any injures.
Luckily, he found none.
"Are you okay?", Bonnie asked, equally as worried as he was.
"Yeah, I'm okay"
Behind her, stood the rest of the gang, just as puzzled and panicked as he was.
"What about you guys?"
They nodded as they looked around.
Milo could feel his brain throbbing inside his skull, both from the noise and confusion.
