"UP THE VOLTAGE, I WANNA SEE HOW MUCH HE CAN TAKE"
BEEP.
ALL INHABITANTS MUST PROCEED TO THE CENTRAL HALL.
BEEP.
Milo had never gotten out of bed quicker than he did that morning.
The moment he'd left Bonnie's side, his mind was filled with anxiety.
For a moment, he'd thought about sneaking back to her room, however, he was already on the guard's bad side and didn't want to push his luck.
So as soon as the command rang throughout the facility, you can bet that Milo was one of the first people to be in the main hall, desperate to reunite with Bonnie.
He threw on a short sleeve and dashed out of his room, bumping into a few people on the way.
However, his heart sank once he got to the main hall.
"Oh no", he whimpered.
Bonnie wasn't there.
She wasn't at the table in which she normally sat.
All that occupied the table was Tim and Sarah.
'Maybe I'm here early', he hoped, glancing at the clock.
8:12 am.
Milo's hypothesis was false.
Bonnie was always at the table by 8:05.
Although the space in time wasn't very significant, Bonnie deeply respected the consept of punctuality.
She was always there before everyone else.
He knew that from the night they met up under the blossom tree.
She was there before he was.
Yet, Milo was now there before Bonnie.
His breathing quickened as his eyes dances across the hall and into the windows of all the shops and restaurants.
Nothing.
She was nowhere to be seen.
His body began to tremble as he turned to run out of the hall, planning to see if Bonnie was in her room.
However, before he could make it out of the hall, his plan was cut short by a harsh grip on his shoulder.
His heart stopped.
"Otis?"
His face remained still.
"Come with me"
