Chapter 7 On schedule

My POV

My body is actually shaking. Dad dropped me off at my moms house an hour ago. I kissed him and told him I would miss him. I was almost at my mothers front door when dad stopped me. He noticed my mothers car wasn't in the driveway. I started to panic on the spot. I thought of the first thing that came to my mind. I told him that maybe Steve took my mothers car to bring the boys somewhere. Dad seemed to be satisfied with my answer, but still told me to let him know if my mom was home and he would wait in the car. I knew I only had a small time frame, because the brood was distracting Sally in the backyard. I ran to my mothers front door and of course the damn thing was locked. Dad was watching me, so I sent a message to Laura telling her my situation. Dad was asking me what was going on, so I told him the door was locked, so I just sent a message to find out why. I started really freaking out when my father opened the car door. Luckily before he stepped out, the front door opened. I let dad know that I was all set, so he could go. I ran to him and gave him a kiss plus a hug, so he would think everything was normal. I then went back to the front door, entered the house, and almost collapsed from my nerves.

Laura somehow snuck into my mothers house and opened the door for me, without being seen by Sally or my father. The two of us ran to my old bedroom and climbed out the window(thankfully my old room is on the first floor), just as we heard Sally going into the house, and yelling about how stupid the brood is. I had to stop Laura from going back inside to shut Sallys mouth. We then headed into the woods to meet the rest of the brood at the hut.

Sitting here now, still trying to get my body to stop shaking, the four of us are laughing at everything that just happened.

When Laura went into the house to unlock the door for you, we didn't know how much longer we could stall Sally, so miss horrible under pressure over here(Marissa points at Jenny) grabs the hose and soaks Sally with it.

The four of us laugh

She got so pissed

Oh my gosh, that must of been the reason she was talking crap on us, I told Laura 

Well she is lucky I didn't go back inside that house and smack her one. No one talks about us ever.

Forget about her. I can't believe that after all these months of planning, I am back with you three. I for sure thought I was going to be caught, when my dad noticed my moms car was missing.

I thought you were caught when you messaged me about the door being locked

I almost was. My dad started to get out of the car. 

He did?

Yes, and I thought I was busted, but then you opened the door just in time

Damn

I am so glad I am here though, I have so many great memories with you girls

They all nodded, and then Jenny sat up straight like she was full of energy

Anissa do you remember when dumbass Steve took away all of your art supplies, and refused to give them back to you?

Yes, I came here to the hut and told all three of you what he did. I do believe Laura called him a jerk?

Yes I did. I was willing to go to his house and kick his ass too, but we figured that would just cause more trouble for you.

We all laugh again

I also remember that the very next day, when I came back to the hut, there was a whole basket full of brand new supplies with a bow on it, waiting for me right there on that couch.

That's right. It took me ten minutes to put that damn bow on it, Marisa complains
