Chapter 24 up all night

EMILYS POV

I am sitting on the couch staring at the phone. It is 3:00am and I have not heard from Anissa since leaving her at the mall with Dylan. I called her phone which is shut off. I called Dylan and he hasn't seen or heard from her. Apparently Anissa asked Dylan to get her a drink, while looking at jewelry in a store. When Dylan came back with a soda, Anissa was no where to be found. He has been trying to call and text her as well.

I cant call Dave to see if he knows anything, because he believes Anissa has been missing for almost three days now. He has no clue she has been with me. Anissa and I have been getting along great, so she wouldn't just avoid contacting me. Something had to of happened. 

I am really scared Steve

You know Anissa, she pulls this shit all the time

Steve she wouldn't just leave Dylan, or just shut off her phone.

I am sure she is fine

Where would she be?

I don't know

How can you be so calm?

Emily she has pulled this so many times on us

Yes, in Ohio, but not in a strange country. We are buddies now, before she used to try to avoid us, now she likes being here.

Maybe she went back to Dave?

She wouldn't do that, she knows she would loose her competition 

Look, let's just go to bed and worry about it tomorrow 

I cant go to sleep knowing my 13 year old daughter is out there somewhere. How would you feel if it was Sally?

Sally wouldn't pull this shit. Sally knows right from wrong

Well what if she did? Would you just go to bed and not worry?

Cause if Sally was missing then something wouldn't be right. Anissa does this constantly

Emily I didn't mean that, I just meant that she does this all the time and you get yourself so worked up for nothing

She's my daughter Steve, it's not for nothing. She is a little girl still

Then maybe you shouldn't of let her do whatever she wants

I am not talking about now, I am talking about the first ten years of her life. If you had more control and showed her more discipline, then she wouldn't be like this

Me? This is all my fault? I punished Anissa many times, she didn't care

That's because your punishments weren't severe enough. I told you since she was 7 years old that she needed a severe ass beating.

So she would of turned out so much better if you raised her?

Look at the difference between Anissa and Sally, and answer that question.
