My POV

I open my eyes and look at the clock in my room, it was already 11:00am. I continue laying in my cozy bed. Dad and I just got back to Florida late last night. I was so exhausted and excited to be back home, and back in my own bed.

We ended up staying in Ohio for 12 days total. We needed to stay longer then the week dad expected because my stitchers weren't ready to come out. The doctor wanted to leave them in a few days longer to make sure the incision was 100 percent closed. By the time I was suppose to get my stitches out, I was almost fully back to normal. I was still taking it easy, but I was no longer laying around all day. Dad and I went to the movies, walked around the parks, went to restaurants, and I even took dad to my favorite mall.

Dad and I were both impatient to go home. My father already cancelled four events just to stay in Ohio with me, but he has a press release in a few weeks that he definitely can't miss. I just wanted to be back home and have my life back to normal. I want to put this whole trip behind me.

More videos and pictures has made their way onto the internet. My dads manager sent dad all the videos and pictures that were uploaded since the party. Each new image was a reminder of how much trouble I was in. Dad even got phone calls from news media asking him for interviews about his "wild teen". My father refused all interviews and wouldn't comment when reporters called asking him questions(I wondered how they even got his phone number). Dad was trying his hardest not to show me how upset he was. He just wanted me to feel better.

The brood surprised me by showing up at the hotel to visit(my mother told them where we were staying), with me. They brought me some snacks and some magazines. Dad wasn't happy to see them at first and almost didn't let them in the door. I begged him to let them visit for just a few minutes. They ended up staying all day. Laura had a long conversation with my father, while I visited with Marissa and Jenny. I wasn't fully paying attention to what Laura and dad was talking about, but I got bits and pieces. I did hear my father tell Laura that "she was an adult now and she couldn't be running around thinking she could do whatever she wanted". He said something about real prison and not juvie, but then Jenny hit my arm for not paying attention to what she was saying.

After the brood left, my father told me that he thinks the girls are nice, but he still doesn't approve of their behaviors.

The day I got my stitches out, dad and I celebrated with banana splits in the park. We were flying out that night, and still needed to pack, but dad wanted to do something special. We sat in the park eating our ice cream and watching some dogs play tag. They were so cute chasing one another. We didn't even talk, because we were intrigued with watching the dogs. Once we finished and the owners left with the dogs, we headed back to the hotel to get all our stuff together. The brood dropped off my clothes when they visited with me at the hotel, but dad had to buy new clothes since he only thought he was coming to Ohio to pick me up, and then head back to Florida. The poor guy wore the same outfit for the whole time I was in the hospital.

The brood dropped by one more time before we left. I was shocked to see them, but my father acted like he knew they were coming. I was even more shocked when dad said it was time to head to the airport and Laura told me she was driving us. We all traveled down the elevator together, then dad checked us out and Laura went to bring the car around so I wouldn't have to walk to far(she wouldn't listen to me, when I said I was perfectly fine now). Once we all got into the car and started driving to the airport, dad asked Laura how long she has had her license for. Jenny blurted out that Laura doesn't have a license, and never did. Dad made Laura pull over so he could take over driving. I laughed at Laura's reaction. The brood doesn't take orders from anyone, but she sure obeyed my father when he told her to get out of the drivers seat, and go to the passengers seat. She did however glare at Jenny while she was switching seats with my father.
