The next morning, Andy woke up to Laurie looking at him on the couch. She was sitting next to him, looking at the beer bottles, and looking at his phone. He sat up quickly, trying to remember if he had deleted Charlotte's texts to him the night before. He looked at Laurie she was holding his phone, she told him the movers called. She never asked about any unusual texts from anyone, she handed him his phone, as she walked into the kitchen to make breakfast. Andy looked over his Iphone in the message icon, Charlotte's messages where gone, he let out a sigh, realizing he had deleted them all.
"Andy, I have an appointment today with Dr. Brown, she wanted to you to come as well." she said.
"Laurie, I got some final packing to do here, what time is the appointment?" he asked.
"2pm, you think you can be sobered up by than?" she said sharply.
"Laurie, I'm fine yes 2pm is fine we can go see Jacob, I'll drop you for you at your physical therapy first, than meet you at Dr. Brown's appointment." Andy told her.
He had forgotten, he had an appointment himself today with Dr. Brown, he made it after the first time he met with her.
"Look Laurie, I'm sorry I drank more and have been snapping at you, it 's just a lot to handle right now, things will be better once we move." he said.
She walked over to him and gave him a hug, "I know honey we just need to get past all of this, and get a fresh start finally. Jacob comes home tomorrow things will be better again." she said.
When she hugged Andy all he wanted to do was escape her hold, he was wondering if he could ever forgive her, for trying to end her life, but kill Jacob as well.
"I know honey, it will be ok, I just have somethings to get done around here today for the movers on the weekend and for Jacob." Andy replied.
Andy had already set up a bed in his office downstairs for Jacob to sleep in and the tv, Jacob's laptop, and video games where all down there for him to use. Andy had a thought Jacob's laptop, his mind instantly went to Derek, he needed to speak to Jacob today and get some answers. They finished eating, heading to see Jacob on his last day in the hospital finally. Laurie headed to her physical therapy, and Andy was about to get on the elevator to see Jake. When she walked in again, this time though was different, they kept starring at each other smiling. There was a few people in there with them, so nothing was going to happen as much as they both wanted it too. The doors, opened everyone got off including Andy, as he was at his floor, he looked back at her, they both smiled and he said "tonight" to her. She smiled she couldn't wait for tonight. Andy headed into see Jake he needed to ask him somethings.
"Hey buddy, you ready to break out of this place tomorrow?" he said, as was leaning against the wall of the door frame.
"Hi dad, ya I want to go home, you think they would let me out today instead?" Jacob asked.
"I know buddy, you just got to wait it out, 24 hours and you'll be home." Andy said.
"Jake, I got ask you something, if you can remember, I'm wondering you and Derek, you guys ever share each others profiles for gaming sites or anything?" he asked.
Jake looked at him puzzled, "why are you asking me that dad?"
Andy had to lie to his son, he needed answers. "Just there has been some weird charges on the credit card, for your xbox account."
Jacob looked and he knew his dad was only asking cause of the online gaming. "Ya dad sorry, Derek and I always shared our online gaming passwords and everything, that way we could both have the same games to play online together." Jacob said.
