Confronting her

Laurie was still angry, hurt and in shock as she and Tobi walked back to the hotel. Laurie wanted to walk straight into The Hyatt Regency demand to know what room Andy or Charlotte's name was under. Tobi tried hard to calm Laurie.

"Laurie, it might just be timing, it doesn't mean he was there with her. Yes it looks bad, but she might be living there, I heard she was back in Newton, but it doesn't mean she lives there. Andy might have just had some meeting downtown for something. You have got to relax, don't do anything rash." Tobi said.

"Tobi, I don't know you might be right but I just have feeling Andy is hiding something from me. Ok just let me go inside to the front desk and ask for either of their names."  Laurie says

"Alright Laurie, just don't overreact if you hear the worst ok, if something is going on this is away to catch Andy in some kind of lie. I just still don't think after everything he would cheat, drinking for sure I can see that issue but an affair, I don't know." Tobi said.

They walked in the Hyatt it was nice white marble floors everywhere, a nice lounging area in the front desk area, brown leather couches dark mahogany tables. It looked very classy. The kind of place she and Andy would have gone to for sure. Laurie's heart was racing and she was nervously shaking. She was worried she might just hear the worse, she went right up to the check in desk. They clerk looked oddly at her.

"Hello, how can I help you?" the younger man said.

"Hi,  my husband has a room here he told me to ask for the key at the front desk." Laurie said.

"Ok ma'am what is your husbands name also the room number would help." he asked as Tobi stayed away in a distance. Laurie had a plan they went inside separately like they didn't know each other. Tobi had a part to play as well.

Laurie thought for a minute she didn't know his room number she was trying to catch him in the act somehow, even though he had left. "Oh he said it was a surprise, his name though is Andy Barber." 

The desk clerk just look, she knew once he heard the name exactly who she was married to, the case was still talked about everywhere in the the Boston and surrounding areas. Laurie just looked down, hoping the clerk would say or ask anything about her family. He jus began to type on his keyboard looking up Andy's name.

"I'm sorry ma'am are you sure it was this hotel he told you to go too?" he asked.

"Oh I'm pretty sure he said The Hyatt downtown." Laurie said.

"Ma'am I'm sorry but I don't have a Andy Barber or even a Andrew Barber as a guest registered here." the clerk said.

"Oh your sure I was sure he told me this hotel." she asks

"Yes ma'am I double checked I am so sorry, I would call your husband and ask again." the man told her.

Laurie walked off in shock and headed towards the door to leave the front desk. She looked towards Tobi. Tobi looked as Laurie walked out the front door. She headed towards the side away from the windows and out of site of the hotel clerk. Tobi walked up towards the front desk clerk. She looked like she was in a rush even.

"Hello Miss how can I help you today, do you have reservation." he asked Tobi.

"Hi no I am looking for my little sister it's an emergency, I know she is staying at this hotel her name is Charlotte Rifkin please look for her room she isn't answering her cell phone at all." Tobi said in a panic.

The clerk didn't even question it, he looked up the name and looked up at Tobi with a sad face. "Miss I'm sorry but I don't have your sister her under a guest." he said back to her.
