Eyes on you

Saturday evening and the Barbers are in the new home. The movers where done unloading everything. Laurie went upstairs to unpack the master bedroom, while Andy and Jacob are downstairs. Jacob is relaxing on the couch Andy had already set up the TV for him watch. The living room is more a great room, as the kitchen is attached to it. The entire house has been re done and modernized. Andy is unpacking the kitchen occasionally looking at his phone. She texted him I miss you Andy. Just I'm ok, don't worry. Andy sent her back kisses and hearts. A little while later he got another text thinking it was Charlotte he smiled. "Hope your having fun with your move. Your little girlfriend back in Newton she better watch your back you both better. Keep digging and I will make you both pay."

"Fuck" Andy's heart raced, he was worried about Charlotte, he figure it was Derek up to games. He thought this way stupid and he confront that little shit head Monday.

"Dad you ok?" Jacob asked

"Ya buddy, just text I forgot about nothing big." Andy said.

"You think mom will eat dinner with us, and we can all watch a movie together tonight." He asked.

"Yes of course Jacob, she just had been stressed with everything, this is better being here for al of us." Andy told him.

"Dad, Sarah asked if she can come visit me this week sometime is that ok?" Jacob asked.

"Yes she can, it you like I could go pick her up on Monday and drop her back home later too." Andy told him.

"Thanks dad I'll text her and let her know, she's been asking when she can visit me now." Jacob said.

I couple hours later Laurie came downstairs, she order them all pizza for dinner. She agreed to watch a movie together as a family. She told them she was leaving early Monday morning with Tobi. But she would be back in a week she just need to girls trip with a couple friends. They understood, Jacob did look at his mom funny, he knew more was going on and he still was having nightmares about the accident. He knew deep down his mom was depressed and not herself when the accident happened, he just was worried about being alone with her. She told them Jacob's nurse would be there staying over night the spare room. It would be easier as she since she was coming from a distance. They all agreed it would be better.  They eventually went to sleep Laurie upstairs Andy was on the couch with Jacob in office room on a bed nicer to the living room.

His phone rang and he answered it. "Hello?"

No one answered on the other end "Who ever this is fuck off, Derek you better back off." Andy said.

He put the phone down when he got a text, he picked up the phone is was Charlotte "Andy who ever knows about us called me 5minutes ago, they said nothing. They threaten me with a text today. We need to stop seeing each other for now." She typed to him on her end she was in her bed broken in tears, as much she tried not to she was totally in love with Andy. Andy his heart sank at the text he began typing "no I'm not losing you because of someone stupid texts, I will always protect you. I love you more than I ever thought possible." He pressed send.

Charlotte her phone went off she looked at Andy's text she smiled, but she didn't know what to do. "Ok I will see you at the hotel but only to talk about how to catch Derek in all of this nothing more we need to be careful about this all." She pressed send and type again "Andy I do love you." Pressing send and she went to sleep.

Most of Sunday the Barbers got the house unpacked. Laurie got ready for her trip with Tobi, her and Andy made jokes but still they where distant with each other. Andy was upstairs unpacking in his closet, when he heard yelling downstairs between Jacob and Laurie. By now it was Monday morning and just before Laurie was leaving soon. The nurse was there already a nice older lady.
