The morning sun beamed on your forehead, the sound of metal clinking together was heard as everyone continued working on the masterpiece of this week.
Seeing everyone working in harmony like this made you happy.
You didn't get to help too much, but when you did it was when you'd help Senku model things. You were pretty much just as smart as him.
You loved helping Senku with things like that, being around him made your day brighter, since you usually just stayed alone most of the time.
Senku wondered why, but he decided not to pick at the topic.
"Y/N?"
You were shaken out of your thoughts by Kohaku and Yuzuriha.
"Oh, hey guys what's up?" you asked, scratching the back of your neck nervously.
They noticed that you were spaced out staring at Senku while he worked with the others. What he did always fascinated you, but he fascinated you just by being himself as well.
"You seemed to be stuck in your thoughts, are you alright?" Kohaku asked you while calmly placing her hand on your shoulder.
Even thought you were mostly a loner, Yuzuriha and Kohaku were pretty much your bestfriends. They were the only people who could really understand you. Well at least that's what you thought.
"Oh, I was just looking at Senku working, that's all."
"Are you sureeeee that's all?" Kohaku poked at you with suggestive eyebrows.
You blushed intensely and pushed her away.
"I don't like Senku if that's what your thinking." You turned away and continued to look at what Senku was working on.
He turned toward you and you both locked eyes for a second.
He smiled at you and turned back to his work, leaving you with a skipping heart beat and red cheeks.
"Yea she likes him" They both announced together.
You sighed and began walking toward Senku to see what he was working on.
He looked toward you and smiled again while greeting you.
