Part 8

3rd Person POV

Everything is going fine for everyone. dahyun been going to her work for almost a week now. Nayeon and her keep seeing each other now in the company. it's not that dahyun have any choice since Nayeon is also working in the same place so she can't do anything about it. she know that it's very awkward specially when Nayeon is always looking at her when she needs to go out from her office so she needs to act really confident for her not to be notice.

But for Nayeon it's different as she always look at her every time she come out her office. Nayeon keep observing her but every time she saw her, you can see how confident Dahyun is and now she's loosing hopes and starting to believe that the dahyun she's seeing is a different person and not the dahyun she's looking for.

It's 11:20 in the morning Dahyun is just in her office sitting down in her chair when suddenly her phone rang indicating that someone is calling and when she look that one of her friend from state is calling her. She grab her phone but before she can even answer the call someone knock at her door.

"The door is open, please come in", she said from the person who's knocking. when the door got open she saw Eunbi her secretary came inside.

"Excuse me Ms. Kim someone came and wanted to see you", Eunbi said.

"who?", dahyun said asking. but before Eunbi can answer the said visitor came inside when dahyun saw it, it was just her sister Kim Jennie.

"It's me your beautiful sister", Jennie said confidently.

"you can leave us first Eunbi", and so Eunbi did and close the door.

"what are doing here?", dahyun ask forgetting that someone is calling her.

"why can't I visit?", Jennie ask when she sat down at the chair in front of dahyun's table 

"oh sh*t I forgot someone is calling me", dahyun said when she look at her phone and saw the missed call so she opened her phone and re-dial the said caller.  after how many ring the person she's calling already answered.

"oh Hello Unnie why are you calling?", dahyun said to the other line.

"Oh Anyeong Dahyunie", said from the other line.

"who is that?", Jennie ask as she was curious who her sister is talking to.

"it's Irene unnie", dahyun said and put the speaker on so her sister can hear. 

It's Bae Irene their friend that is also a Korean that they met in state.

"Oh Irene Anyeong", Jennie said.

"Jennie Anyeong", Irene said.

"so why were you calling unnie?", dahyun ask.

"well I just wanna ask if you're busy right now", Irene said from the other line.

"when is she not busy?", Jennie said teasing. dahyun just glared at her.

"not really why?", dahyun said to Irene. 

"Well I kind a got bored in states and suddenly book a flight to Korea so...", Irene said.

"What? you're in Korea right now?!!!", Dahyun shock asking.

"why so shock is not like you don't know her. she's a free spirit girl she will do whatever she want sometimes you will just get shocked because she's already in front of your door", Jennie said that made Irene laugh.  

"Yeah, so I wanted to invite you for lunch.", Irene said but before dahyun could even talk Jennie interrupt her again.

"Hey aren't you gonna invite me too?", Jennie ask sulking.

"yeah sure you can come too", Irene said.

"Yeah sure unnie just send me the address of the place so me and my sister can go together", dahyun finally answered.

"no it's ok I can meet you guys at the coffee shop near your company so you don't need to bring car", Irene said.

"oh ok unnie thanks we will meet you there", Dahyun answer then hang up already. after she put her phone down she look at her sister raising her left eye brows.

"What?", Jennie Ask confused.

"What are you doing here?", dahyun said crossing her arms.

"well I have nothing to do in the house", Jennie said leaning at the chair.

"why don't just date someone so you won't keep bothering me", dahyun sarcastically said.

"looks who's talking as if she's in a relationship", Jennie said rolling her eyes.

"I don't have time for that", looking at her computer.

"you don't have time or expecting for someone", Jennie said leaning forward.

"what are you even saying?", dahyun said focusing on her computer.

"are you perhaps expecting the girl outside your room", Jennie said.

"stop it unnie she's already a past of mine", dahyun said looking at her.

"well ok then if you say so", Jennie said averting her eyes from her phone.

" well you know what let's just go already Irene unnie must be in her way to the café", Dahyun said standing up as well as Jennie. after dahyun grab her coat they already went outside to go the café

when they reach the café already Jennie said she will just get something from her car so she leave dahyun alone that's why dahyun just decide to grab a coffee first. so she went inside and and order at the counter immediately but while ordering she heard her name from a familiar voices. when she look at them she didn't expect to see them there. 

"Dahyun?"

"Dahyun unnie!"

"Bro?"

she just look at them without any impression while standing because she don't know how to escape from there. but then someone suddenly grab her shoulder. when she look at the person it was Irene.

"save by the bell", she said in her thoughts.

"Dahyunie", Irene said hugging her from the back.

"Bae", dahyun smile at her and hug her.

"Jennie said you're here so I went inside to see you", Irene smile at her.

"yeah I just order something", dahyun said smiling back at her.

After that she just get her order and they both already went outside the café and went to Jennie so they can go to the restaurant already for lunch. 

"I heard them called you and you're just looking at them", Irene said while driving.

"ahh yeah just don't mind it", Dahyun nervously answered.

"Who?", Jennie curiously ask.

"My old friends", Dahyun answered.

"oh you saw them?", Jennie shockingly ask.

"yeah and they are all there, but let's not mind it I don't wanna ruin our day", dahyun smile at them.

after that they just spend their day without talking about that topic.
