{ Chapter 5}

Jimin's POV

My life ever since I became the CEO of this pageant company has been turned upside down.

I had no choice.

I was the heir, it might feel like a privilege but for me, it was a loss of freedom.

No one knows that being in this high position makes you feel alone.

Right now, I'm sitting in the hallway bench feeling humiliated.

But as I stared at the girl who was busy wiping my tux with tissue papers, those feelings became invisible.

"Aigoo.. those people doesn't really know respect. They could have had a peaceful picketing."

"I know."I kept staring at her and I've always wondered why people valued looks over personality.

"There you go. All done." She gave a thumbs up

which in turn make me chuckle and eyesmile.

FAST-FORWARD>>>Evening.

Author's POV

It was time for Jennie to go home.

She packed her things after calling various chairmans and investors for Jimin.

She grabbed her sling bag and saw Jimin falling asleep in his desk.

She could only smile and grab a coat from his rack, she then covered it on his back.

"Sleep well saajangnim." She leaned closer and whispered cutely before walking out from the office.

Jennie's POV

It was going home time and I received a message from Taehyung on my mini touch screen.

Tae: You can ride the bus on the nearby bus station, I'll fetch you on the next two stops.

I looked around and saw the bus station, I had no choice but to cross the road.

I sat on the waiting area, anticipating for a bus to come.

Until finally one arrived.

I stepped inside and found an empty seat with no one beside me.

I was still staring outside the glass window when I felt someone sitting beside me.

I turned and was surprised to see Jimin.

My eyes widened at the sight of him.

"S-Saajangnim..." I called out awkwardly.

He turn to look at me and smirked.

"I was wondering, maybe next time we'll eat lunch together." He said.

Huh? All of a sudden?

"Oh umm... lunch? Why?" I feel stupid asking this question.

"Yes, you know I just want to thank you for saving me last time, and just today."

"Oh.." I bit my lip and nodded.

Then I turned my attention back to the view outside.

Jimin's POV

I actually felt her covering me with coat on my back.

I didn't know she was this considerate.

I wanted to make it up to her by buying her meal.

I don't know why but she has a pleasing personality, one that might draw you in.

I saw her as she took earphones from her pocket together with her phone.

She cleared her throat and turned to me.

"Saajangnim.. do you want to listen to music?"She managed to smile.

Cute.

I nodded, then she placed the other earphone on my ear.

Jennie's POV

I know this might be a bit awkward but who cares, can't I make friend of someone who accepts me for who I am?

I looked outside the window with smile plastered on my face.

Jimin's POV

It was a quite a longer ride and I could see her head rocking back and forth as she was asleep.

I had no choice as a courtesy but to position her head, letting her lean on my shoulder.

She had light snores and I could only smile.

Was she really tired of being my personal assistant the whole day?

Jennie's POV

I'm so sleepy, luckily I feel comfortable leaning on-... WAIT WHAT?

That's when it hit me that I was actually leaning on Jimin's shoulder.

My head is faced on the window and I want to hide my face in embarrassment.

"Jennie ssi..." I heard him calling me.

I instantly sat up straight and stopped leaning my head.

WE'RE ALREADY AT THE 2ND STOP

I heard the driver shouting.

Then I took the earphone from him,

"I gotta go home saajangnim." I told him politely.

I stood up and grabbed my bag, then to my surprise he also stood up.

"I'll go with you"

Is it me or this guy's acting really weird?

"What?"

"Just... I don't wanna go home yet."

"Arrasseo." I smiled.

Maybe he has issues on his home that's why he didn't wanna go.

We both stepped down from the bus and I smiled as soon as I saw Taehyung.

"Tae... thanks for fetching me. This is Jimin." I told him.

Author's POV

Taehyung looked at Jimin but his expressions were plastered with coldness.

"I'm Jimin." Jimin held out his hand and Taehyung shook it but only for a shorter period of time.

It was as if there was a tension between them.

"So guys... shall the three of us go now?" Jennie asked.

"Three of Us?" Taehyung asked.

Jennie looked at the two guys and it feels like she was caught up in between.
