I still can't forget how Taehyung lashed out at me.
I'm busy folding dresses at my counter inside my boutique shop..
"Chae....someone wants to talk to you." Ms.Yoo told me.
"Let him or her in." I muttered.
As I'm focused on the fine clothes I'm holding, I heard a clearing of voice.
I looked up and felt surprised seeing him.
Taehyung.
"What are you doing h-.."
"I'm here to apologize for what happened."
I looked down to what he was holding, it was a basket of goodies.
"How did you know that I'm here."
"Jennie told me about this."
I stopped folding the clothes and looked at him.
He was looking at me with his apologetic eyes.
"If you're really that sorry... you need to compensate me."
"Mwo?"
"Work here for me."
"Why would I do that?"
"Look.. if you want to help Jennie reach her dream. You have to follow what I say, you work here. While I'll help her reach to the pageant contest."
He looked at me but this time, his face looked as if he was still reflecting.
I walked towards him and held his arm.
"Please... just say you'll work here." I looked at him with my puppy eyes.
Taehyung's POV
I don't know why but this feels weird. It's almost as if this girl is clinging towards me.
Could it be that she likes me?
Heol, what am I thinking?
I watched as she held my arm while staring at me.
I couldn't resist it
"Arrasseo." I give up.
This girl is too persistent.
She grinned widely and excitedly walked back to the counter.
I wonder where this path will take me.
A week later...
Taehyung accompanied to the boutique shop.
Rosé tried various clothes on Jennie, she also measured her top up to her waist then down.
And for the crucial part....
She brought her to the surgery clinic which was owned by her close friend, Jeongyeon.
At this point, Jennie laid down on the surgery cushion.
"Are you ready for a big change?" Jeongyeon asked her behind the curtain..
"Of course doc." Jennie replied.
Meanwhile outside the curtain.....
"Are you sure she'll be alright?" Taehyung asked Rosé as he sat beside her.
"Tae, you gotta trust me on this."
"If something goes wrong, I-..."
"What? Blame me again? Why are you always mad at me?" Rosé stood up feeling mad.
Then she walked away angrily.
This time Taehyung held his head in frustration and followed after her.
They were both outside the clinic, and Taehyung pulled her arm harshly, pushing her on the wall.
"Look.. I'm not mad at you. I'm just worried at Jennie."
"Do you like her?"
Taehyung went silent.
"Why would I like her? We're just bestfriends that's all."
"Stop lying to yourself. I'm not like you... I won't gonna lie, that I admired you ever since you comforted me back at the alleyway.. I just want to know what it would feel like to be inside your heart."
"You admired me?"
"You're such a blind person.." Rosé rolled her eyes then walked back inside the clinic.
Taehyung's POV
That girl likes me?
What? How on earth did that happen when we just met?
And what does she see in a province boy like me?
I leaned on the wall.
And thought of my feelings for Jennie.
If I'd still choose the path towards her heart, will I be happy?
2 hours later....
Author's POV
The surgery of Jennie was finally over.
Rosé and Taehyung waited in anticipation inside the clinic.
"Are you ready to see Jennie version 2.0?"Jeongyeon smiled at both Taehyung and Rosé.
" Yes." They said in unison.
"Alright." Jeongyeon flipped the cloth which covered Jennie's face.
The moment Jennie sat up, Taehyung with Rosé gasped.
"J-Jennie..."Rosé stuttered.

Jennie smiled at both of them.
"Why? Do I look pretty now?"
Rosé nodded and rushed to hug her.
Taehyung grinned and went to hug her as well.
"Thank you for this Rosé, I don't know how I could repay you." Jennie said whilst smiling.
