{Chapter 7}

Jennie's POV

I was watering the company plants early in the morning while crouching down when I heard a voice...

"Good Morning beautiful Jennie." I turned and saw him again.

Jimin

He's eyesmiling

That darn cute smile...

I shook off those thoughts for a moment and continued with what I was doing.

"Good Morning Saajangnim."I greeted him.

"Aigoo.. just call me Jimin from now on." He said as he bent down to my level.

He then caressed my head.

I froze as I couldn't help but feel my heart wavering again.

I wanted to ask him right now, how come he's so kind to me.

Perhaps, I wanted to ask the same question Taehyung asked before.

How come he easily got close to me?

I finally stood up facing him.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him.

"Nothing, I was just wondering if you remember what I said to you at the bus... about us, having lunch."

"Well... yes.. I kinda remembered so.."

"So see you later! Meet me at the fountain area!" He winked at the same time clicking his tongue.

He then walked away without giving me a chance to continue what I was about to say.

Author's POV....

When lunch time came, Jennie left the office first as Jimin was busy having meeting with investors.

She went towards where the fountain area was.

She stood up there while looking at her watch, waiting for Jimin to show up.

Jennie's POV

I was walking back and forth and I noticed how time flies so fast.

As the time flies so fast, I noticed how my life started to gradually change because I met him.

Maybe if he hadn't invited me to dance and maybe if I hadn't saved him from his supposed accident then I wouldn't get a job here to keep crossing paths with him.

I still have a lot of questions in my mind and in my heart.

Maybe I have this weird feelings because it's my first time to see a guy who used to be a stranger admire me in and see me in a different way.

My stomach started to rumble and still, there was no sign of him.

I decided to just walk back inside the building.

There were a few people as it is already lunch break.

I rode the elevator.

As soon as I stepped out on the floor where his office was located.

I couldn't dare to walk any further.

Because right in front of my very eyes...

I saw how he was trapping a lady in between his arms on the wall.

I slowly walked backwards.

I don't know why I feel upset all of a sudden..

Maybe because I'm expecting something when I shouldn't be expecting about it.

Jimin's POV

I couldn't help but feel rage... this lady in front of me left me for her dreams.

Mina.

"Park Jimin... that's why I came back... I wanted to make you mine again." She smiled.

And she even has the guts to do that.

I trapped her in between my arms, showing that I'm no longer going to forgive her.

"Why? Do you think you can just easily ask that? For 5 freaking years! I kept yearning... but you? did you even think of me?"

"Which is why I'm here to repent for what I did. Chim, I still love you."

I stopped trapping her and held my head in frustration, my other hand punched the wall.

Jennie's POV

I'm already riding the bus home.

I decided to just eat at the café near where me and Tae are staying at.

I placed on my earphones as I leaned on the glass window.

I remembered what Taehyung said to me last night.

***flashback

"You're smiling there and all.. Aren't you afraid to get your heart broken again?" He told me, this made me feel as if I've done something wrong.

"Why would I be? It's not like something is going on between me and Jimin."

"Nothing going on? You smiling there awhile ago.. you bidding farewells.. and awhile ago you blushed."

"Tae... why are you so mad about this?!"

"Because I'm concerned as your friend!... It just pains me seeing you cry because of those bastards who broke your heart... Because they didn't like your appearance. I'm afraid that jerk is only being kind to you and friendly....don't get your hopes up."

**end of flashback

I now know the greatest reason why I feel down...

Because..

I'm indeed expecting something more....more than his mere kindness towards me.

Park Jimin...

I have to stop this before it worsens, before my heart shatters into pieces again.

Goodbye Jimin, let's not see each other again.
