{Chapter 8}

Jimin's POV

"Don't expect that I'd love you again just like that...after you left me." I told Mina.

She was my everything, I gave her all of my love, supported her in her journey towards her dream

But what did she do?

She broke up with me that easily.

"Jimin let's continue talking I-..."She held my hand put I harshly swatted it away.

"Talk to yourself."I told her before walking away angrily.

I looked at my watch and realized that I had kept Jennie waiting.

I went to the fountain area but there was no sign of her.

Luckily, I got her phone number from the candidates information.

I tried contacting her but it would only keep beeping afterwards.

Where could she be?

Jennie's POV

I'm now walking towards the building where we are staying at when I saw Hyeri and Taehyung from afar.

"Jennie? Are you alright? You look sullen." Hyeri went towards me.

I looked at her and she was right.

I'm feeling upset about what happened.

"I guess something did happen." Taehyung said as I looked at him.

"Tell us.. We're here to listen." Hyeri said.

I looked down, I have no mood to talk right now nor to share about my feelings.

I don't want them to be bothered and most especially I don't want them to know about the reason but Taehyung beat it to me.

"It's about that jerk Jimin right? I know it. That guy is only being kind and friendly and you're expecting something." Taehyung said.

I give up.. he's too good at reading me.

I nodded lightly.

Then Hyeri hugged me tight.

"You know what? How about we comfort you."Hyeri said as she caressed my back.

I could only smile as to how sweet she was..

Then afterwards she pulled me with her as well as Taehyung.

We stopped by the convenience store and bought 3 ice creams.

We were eating them as we explored and walked downtown.

"What shall we try next?" Hyeri asked.

"I'm still hungry, I want ramen." Taehyung pouted cutely.

I pinched his cheek and laughed.

Author's POV

The three of them arrived at a ramen restaurant.

They lined up at the cashier and ordered the same ramen, chashu.

"Oh my gosh... I'm the one who's supposed to be paying I forgot to withdraw so my wallet is empty." Hyeri said while looking at the insides of her wallet.

"Then I'll withdraw for you." Taehyung said.

"Thanks Tae, I'll text you the pin." She handed him the card, then he stood up and left.

At this point, Jennie was looking at the television.

Hyeri also looked at the television and looked back at her.

"So you're interested in beauty pageants huh?" Hyeri asked as she leaned closer by supporting her chin with her arm.

"It just feels nice to attend there, you need to have the beauty, the brains, and nice outfits." Jennie said dreamily.

"Well you could attend though."

"Hyeri.. with my looks?" Jennie stated the obvious, particularly referring to her deformed face.

"Oh.. sorry.." Hyeri pouted.

Taehyung's POV

I'm walking through every corner to look for an ATM machine..

Actually while Jennie was busy in her work, Hyeri taught me how to withdraw and taught me a lot of things in the city.

I'm always grateful that we met a girl with a good character.

As I continued walking, I heard sobs nearby.

I walked towards the direction to where it was from.

Then I saw a blonde girl, leaning on the wall of a narrow alleyway.

She was covering her face with both her palms.

I walked towards her and asked her.

"Are you alright miss?"

She removed her palms from her face and looked at me.

I don't know why but I guess she was a privileged one.

Her hair was neatly tied, she had a makeup on and her jewelries and outfits look elegant.

But her eyes speaks of sadness.

I was surprised when she suddenly pulled my shirt making my body move towards her.

"Jebal... stay with me." She said.

And I can't help but think why.

How could I stay when I don't even know why she's crying like that.

And to add up, I have to go back to Hyeri and Jennie.

"Miss just tell me first, what's wrong? Look, I still have to go back to my friends."

Eventually the girl let go of his shirt and looked up at him.

"I did everything I could to become a pageant contestant again... but.. they said I won't last in that industry." she said catching her breath from crying.

"Here.. I'd just want to say that you deserve to be happy." I handed her a handkerchief.

She hesitated at first but eventually accepted it.

I then walked away putting my hands inside my pocket

I'm hoping that she'd really be happy.

Rosé's POV

Whoever that guy is.... I'd like to repay him for saving me from sadness.

I watched as he walked away.

He was tall and had a broad shoulder.

I could see from his look that he's unlike every other guy.

He was a simple one.

I have to find him again...
