Chapter 2- Stupid Situations (Revised)

Airell's POV
~♡~

"How could you do this, Dad? We were fine with just the two of us! And now you want some bitch to live with us? I wasn't informed our house turned out to be a dormitory!" I yelled out of pure rage.

Wait, hold up. You might be wondering what happened. Rewind 15 minutes ago ..

"... then I slammed down the gas pedal then, boom! Airell Carter won her fifth championship cup! It was amazing, Dad! One of the best races I've ever been to! Oh, I just love Italy. Don't you?" I blabbed on to my Dad. But just like as it was 15 minutes ago, he just stared at his plate.

We were currently having dinner since I just got home from Italy. But uere he is, not giving a shit about my tale.

Irritated, I asked, "Dad? Are you even listening?"

"Huh? Yes, I am, Princess," he said but still absentmindedly.

"Seems like you're not," I said losing my appetite, "Is something wrong, Dad? You know you can always tell me."

He just sighed.

"Jessica is gonna move in next week, Ai," he said.

Then my eyes just bulged.

-now-

Back to present time.

"Don't talk about her that way, Airell. You don't know her," he said obviously pissed off.

"Oh, and you do?! You've known her for like, 3 months, Dad! Don't you dare tell me you know her because I definitely know how long it takes to totally know a person! She's just using you!"

"Stop it, Airell! Don't talk to me that way! Don't talk like you know everything about Jessica when you haven't even met her!"

"I don't want to meet her because I simply don't like her! Can't you see it, Dad?! She's about half your age and yet you still want her! You even want her to live here! Haven't you thought about what I would feel?! Have you even stopped and think for a freaking moment about how I would react to this?! Damn it, Dad! I sure as heck am not happy about it!"

Dear tears, please don't ever drop.

"Airell," Dad said calmly then held my hands, "I'm sorry, okay. I know I've made mistakes but I just want our family to be whole again. Please just give Jessica a chance," he added pleadingly.

"No, Dad," I replied as I pulled back my hands, "This family has been long destroyed since Mom died. You can never replace her," I said then went to the door to get out from our dinning room but stopped then added.

“I’m not trying to replace your Mom, Princess. No one could ever replace her. I just want you to meet your sister,” he sighed, defeated.

“Sister? A sister! Great! And I’m supposed to be happy about that? Wow, great timing, Dad! Mom dies and now a wild sister appears! Why don’t we just throw at her a Pokeball and keep her!”

“Airell Jillian, what has gotten into you?! She’s-”

"But it's up to you, Dad,” I cut off whatever he was going to say, “You can either let her move here just as you wished or lose me. Your choice."

I never looked back to see what my Dad's reaction would be. I just went straight up the stairs to my room, made sure to lock it, then dropped face down to my queen-sized bed.

After a few moments of silence, I screamed with my pillow covering my face.

I can't believe my Dad would ever think about letting somebody else into our lives. I admit I may not he the best daugher out there but it's just not freaking right!
