As Jin and Tae sat down at their table, it seemed like every eye in the restaurant was looking at them. But they only had eyes for each other.

"I hope you don't think I'm being too bold by asking you out for a real date. I just thought I would finally take my chance. And if you would have said 'No', then I would have moved on."

"Really? You would've given up so soon? What if something happened to my daughter and I couldn't make it for that night?" Jin asked.

"Well, ok.. I probably would've kept on trying." He chuckles deeply. His wide smile on full display.

"Sorry... I just really like you. And I know you're still married but..."

"Nope, my marriage was deemed invalid due to his first marriage. So it was signed off by a judge somewhere. I am as I've always been.. Just plain old Kim Seokjin." He replies with a smile.

"I love it." Tae laughs. "And there's nothing 'old' about you."

"Thanks. My friend thinks it's kinda strange that I am going out with my ex's husband's best friend." He scrunches his eyebrows as he thinks if he said that right. Then giggles and says, "You know what I mean."

"Yeah, and maybe to the casual observer it may seem strange. But ah! There was just something about you that first day I saw you. You enchanted me. I guess is what I would call it. And I don't mind it one bit.

Jimin is supportive of me pursuing you. I hope it's just cause he's really happy for me and not just hoping that we hit it off out of spite for his husband."

Jin laughs as he thinks about what he said. It's just the type of thing that his own best friend would root for as well.

When the waiter comes, they place their orders and continue talking about anything and everything. They just want to know everything they can about each other. Jin loves how they don't have any awkward silences with their conversation.

He likes his smile when he talks about his job and dealing with children. He loves his laughter as he recalls something funny that happened. He wishes the night would never end.

As they eat their food once it arrives, Jin offers him some of his and when he sees Tae lick his lips right after, his eyes can't help but linger on them.

When he finally looks up he finds Tae looking at him with a sly and mischievous smile. He then returns to his food, not wanting to get excited during their dinner.

After they finished with their dinner they exited the restaurant. As they walked towards Tae's car, he asked Jin, "Are you in a hurry to go home? Or do you maybe want to do something really fun with me?"

Jin gulps as he imagines being manhandled in the back seat of his car. But he manages to reply, "What do you have in mind?"

"I thought maybe we could go... go cart racing!"

"What? Really?" Jin asked.

"Yes, I think it will be fun."

He sounded really excited, like a young child and who was Jin to burst his bubble.

"Well, ok.. yeah. It does sound like fun."

Tae nearly jumps for joy as they get into the car and drive towards the go cart race track.

When they arrive they are seated in their cars and are soon racing around the track having a blast.
