Deception

Part Eighteen

Jimin was humming as he was moving about the kitchen cooking. He wore a huge smile and was both excited and scared about his kids meeting Yoongi.

He knows Yoongi's attitude is different than what they're used to but he likes that about him. The boys have been with Jungkook and he is supposed to be dropping them off soon.

A short while later he hears the front door open and then sees the boys walk in talking amongst themselves. They rush over to his side when they see him and surround him in a big group hug.

"Did you boys have fun?" He asks.

"Yes, we can swim really good now. My coach said so, right papa?"

Jimin turns to find Jungkook standing against the doorway smiling at his sons. He is carrying his daughter in his arms and she is looking all around.

"Yes, but you still shouldn't swim by yourself. Ok."

They all mumble yes or something. Then Jimin tells them, "Ok, well don't forget we have dinner plans so please go shower and get dressed."

"But we already took a shower after we got out of the pool."

"Ok fine, but go change your clothes. I want you all looking nice today."

"Why?" They begin to whine, until they see Jimin give them a look and they didn't ask any questions. They just told their papa and sister goodbye and went upstairs.

Jimin then looks at Ae-ri and she immediately smiles at him. Her cheeks are full and she looks like a mini version of her Appa. Except she has Jungkook's bunny smile.

He reaches out to tickle underneath her chin and she giggles.

"So you have big plans tonight?" Jungkook asks.

Jimin looks into his eyes and says, "Yes, the boys are going to meet my boyfriend. I just figured it was time."

"Wow.. I didn't realize it was that serious."

"We don't know yet. We're just seeing how things go. Especially how well he gets along with the boys."

"I see.. I'm glad that you're not letting what happened between us hold you back. You deserve to be happy. You were the best friend and lover I ever had. I just wish I hadn't have ruined everything because of my selfishness. Who knows how far we could've made it."

Jimin sighs and tells him, "Kookah, please don't start with the 'what could've been' talk. I'm trying really hard not to focus on the past. It doesn't help that when I do think about it, I just get so angry and have thoughts about chopping your dick off and feeding it to the neighbors Rottweiler. I don't need those kinds of negative thoughts rolling around in my head.

It's taking everything I have just to be civil with you for our son's sakes. So please, let's just keep our conversations about the kids. For both our sanity's."

"You're right, I'm sorry. I don't know why I do it. But I do wish the best for you.. I just wanted to say that. Well, I guess I'd better get going. Jin's probably already called several times by now looking for her."

Jimin walks him to the door and bid goodbye. He refuses to fall into the pattern of missing his old life. He is still young and gorgeous. He deserves to be happy. And if he can find happiness with an amazing younger man then he will take that chance.

He then returns to cooking before going to get dressed and ready.

At 7pm on the dot, Yoongi was knocking on Jimin's door. Jimin went to answer it and Yoongi pulls him in for a passionate kiss before releasing him.
