Deception

Part Three

Jungkook and Jimin had just checked on their boys as they slept in the connecting room to theirs. They were all exhausted after a fun filled day.

Jimin told Jungkook that he would be taking a shower, if he wanted to join him. They emerged an hour later, very satiated.

As they both laid down together, ready to drift off to sleep, Jungkook's phone suddenly pinged. So he reached out to grab it, away from Jimin's view.

He didn't expect anyone to message him since Jin knows not to text him on weekends.

He looks at the screen and is immediately alarmed to actually see his name on the screen.

He quickly slipped his shoes on and told Jimin he had an important message he had to deal with. And walked outside the room to see the message.

Kim's Lingerie 💕: Kookie, I don't know when you will see this message. But I just wanted to let you that Ae-ri had a little accident at the park and cut her leg. But don't worry, she is fine now. Though she did have to get a couple of stitches. She was given antibiotics so she's really fine. I just wanted you to know, so you wouldn't be surprised about it when you come home. We both love you and miss you. Be safe. ❤️

Jungkook immediately wanted to call him and check up on his baby girl. But he knew he couldn't do anything about it now.

He will just have to take his word and assume she is ok.
He is sure if it was really serious, then he would have been calling him non-stop.

He returns to his room and finds his husband fast asleep. So he climbs in next to him and snuggles up to him. And he falls asleep too.

The next morning they all pack up their things and head home. The boys are outside with Jungkook playing basketball and Jimin is inside doing a load of laundry.

The doorbell suddenly rings and he walks over to open it.
He sees his longtime best friend Taehyung.

"Hey, what are you doing here?
I'm shocked you're not at work."

"Nah, I've cut down on my hours lately. It's easier to do when you're a pediatrician." He walks in behind Jimin, carrying a big bag.

"What do you have there Tae? Please tell me you didn't just bring the boys more toys."

He laughs and says, "It's my right as their uncle. Plus, you know how much I love them."

Jimin laughs as he hugs him, "I know you do Tae. Thank you. But you are spoiling them."

They then hear loud talking as they all come back inside.
As soon as they see their uncle Tae, they run over to hug him. He is smiling wide, happy to see them.

"I brought you boys a couple of things. I think you can figure out what belongs to whom."

They excitedly grab the bag and were about to run off. But Jungkook stopped them.

"Wait! What do you say to your uncle Tae?"

"Thank you uncle Tae!" They all said in unison.

"You're welcome! Go enjoy!" He replies.

Jungkook grabs a water bottle and goes to join them in the living room and sits next to Jimin.

He listens to their conversation for a while.

"So how'd your date go with that other doctor?" Jimin asks.

Tae makes a face and says, "Ugh, don't remind me. He was a total douche bag. The entire time he only talked about himself and his workout routine.
