Deception

Part Seventeen

The next morning, Yoongi called Jimin and asked him if he wanted to go to the Seoul Folk flea market with him. Jimin hadn't been there since before he married Jungkook so he said yes. He was told to wear comfortable shoes in case they do alot of walking.

Taehyung had also called Jin to invite Jin out for a day of fun. So Jin called Jungkook and asked what his plans are for their daughter that day was.

"I'm not sure. I think they're all starting to get used to being together now. But I will let you know later. Do you have any plans today? Maybe you'd like to join us?"

Jin replies, "I have plans with Tae. I just wanted to make sure my baby was ok. I will be home by 6pm, so please bring her home by then."

Rejected again. He just nods and says, "I will. Don't worry. Talk to you later."

They end the call and Jin goes to get showered and dressed. He is excited to spend the day with his love.

Tae walks towards Jin's front door and knocks. Jin opens the door and they hug and kiss each other.

Jin moves aside to let him enter. They both walk towards the kitchen and Jin pours him a cup of tea.

"So what did you have planned for today? Anything fun?" Jin asks.

"Well, I thought we could spend the morning at the flea market. You know, just to enjoy the fresh air and maybe find a good deal on something.

"Sure, sounds fun. I used to go alot before I got married. But you know.. he never liked doing anything outdoors."

Tae watches his face as he seems to have a realization.

"You know, I used to wonder why we never went out in the city to eat dinner or shop at the malls. But it never occurred to me that he was just hiding me from his family and friends. I must've been so ignorant and stupid."

He looks down at his cup as he thinks back upon his times with Jungkook. He's glad to be rid of him.

Tae reaches his hand across the table and says, "Don't think about the past baby. Just think about our future together."

Jin smiles and says, "I will.. I do.. you're the best thing that ever happened to me you know that? Well, besides my daughter. That's the only good thing he gave me."

They finish their drink and lock up before heading to Tae's car.

When they get there they walk around holding hands and stopping occasionally to look at something at a stall. Jin has already found a couple of cute hair bows and brush set for his baby girl. Tae then sees a stroller shaped like a car and is pushed by a person riding a bike attached to it.

"Oh! That looks like something you can use. Just imagine Ae-ri laughing her little head off as she's flying through the park in her car."

Jin laughs at the excited look on Tae's face.

"Yeah, she would really love that."

"I'm getting it for her." Tae exclaims and rushes towards the lady selling the strollers.

Jin stands to the side to look at other things and then hears an unfamiliar voice say, "Wow Taehyung-ah, I never thought I'd see you buying a baby stroller. Omg! Don't tell me you are expecting?"

Jin looks up to see his ex-husband's ex standing next to a surprised Tae. And next to him is his best friend Yoongi.

"What? N-no.. this is for Jin's daughter."

Jimin turns when he sees Jin walk over to stand next to Tae and they acknowledge each other carefully. Just barely a nod or so.

"I see.. I guess y'all decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather as well." Jimin adds.
