I woke up to the sun blaring through my window into my eyes. I blinked a couple of times to adjust my eyesight and as I turned over, That glorious man was fast asleep next to me. He stayed all night like he said he would. I lay there smiling and watching him sleep. I could hear his soft breathing and I could see his chest slowly and gently rising and falling. Those soft lips ever so slightly parted. His eyelids were flickering from dreaming. I could've lay here watching him all morning but I knew I had things to do today. Would he stay with me today and see what living a life in Midgard is really about ? I heard him move and glanced back over to him as his eyes flickered open. "Good Morning, My Sweet Pet" He smiled as he planted a kiss on my lips. "So, my dear. What Is on your agenda today?" He spoke softly as he caressed my cheek. "I have a lot of Midgardian chores to do really." I mentioned. "Do you fancy being a Midgardian for the day, Loki?" I laughed. She chuckled "Why not my dear, After all I guess it would be worth embracing the world of my sweet pet" He smiled as he stood up out of bed and pulled me up with him. He pulled me into a huge embrace. "It is an incredible feeling to wake up with you my pet" He stroked my hair and kissed my forehead. I just relished the moment. "Let's dress then my dear" He smiled as he stepped back and worked his magic. He had conjured white shirt and black suit trousers. The top 3 buttons of his shirt were undone and he paired this with some smart black shoes. "Now it's your turn my dear" He smiled as a quick movement of his hand had conjured me the most beautiful outfit I had seen. I looked in the mirror. I was wearing some black ripped skinny jeans and black books paired with a white crop top and a dark green leather jacket. As I looked even more he had even conjured some beautiful golden earrings and a beautiful gold necklace with the initial "L" with a green emerald. "You look astonishing darling" He smiled as he grabbed my waist and kissed me.
After finishing getting ready, which Loki proved very quick and easy, we left the apartment and headed out into Manhattan. It was time to show Loki the ropes of being on Midgard. we started by going to the local convenience store and getting my monthly grocery shop as I hadn't been since I moved in. I was putting the shopping cart around and Loki so kindly offered to push it around for me whilst I put everything in that I needed. "You starting to feel like a true Midgardian yet, Loki?" I giggled. "I must say, it is very strange. I usually just conjure what I want with my magic" He smiled whilst looking around with such curiosity. "Where did you learn your magic, Loki" I asked. He smiled "I learnt them from Frigga, The Queen of Asgard, My Mother. She's full of tricks. Ever since Odin brought me back from Jotunheim that day.." We carried on shopping and I listened as he explained his true parentage and history. He really did idolise his mother. He may not have seen eye to eye with his father but I could sense that Odin really did care, and so did Thor.
We eventually finished shopping and we went back to the apartment to drop off the food."How about we go to a cafe, Loki?" I suggested. He looked curious "I do not know what this is you speak of but please, Lead the way my dear" He smiled. So we walked back out of the apartment and I took him to a local cafe. It turns out he's never really drank or eaten any food from Midgard. I ordered our drinks and food from the cafe and we sat at a table by the window. "So, Loki, try this" I said as I passed him his drink. I got him to try a caramel iced latte. "Wow. This drink is incredible" I giggled at his enthusiasm. All of a sudden, the cup was thrown to the floor and Loki shouted. "Another!" I sat in shock. "Why did you do that Loki" I looked wide eyed. "I meant no disrespect. In Asgard, thats how we express admiration and enjoyment" He smiled at me with that cheeky smile. We apologised the staff and we continued to sit and laugh. He was really enjoying his time in Midgard, but would he ever live here? I'd love to see what a day in Asgard would be like.
We headed home and cuddled and read Shakespeare stories together for a few hours before falling asleep on the couch. We woke up and we had dinner. I had an idea of taking him out to see how the people of Midgard party and celebrate. This would be a very interesting evening.
