I was so shocked by my worthiness of lifting Mjolnir. Did Odin really deem me that worthy? I just smiled as I carefully placed Mjolnir back down. "I think I'm going to head to bed. Thank-you for a great evening" I smiled before I quickly walked back into my room and not giving them a chance to respond. "Madison... Are you..." Loki said but I had walked off too quickly for him to even finish what he was trying to ask me. I opened the door and quickly shut it behind me. I dropped down forwards onto the bed with my face in my pillow. I grabbed it and started to hug my pillow. I felt tears pricking my eyes and I couldn't stop them falling down my face. Why me? Why was I so worthy? After everything I've been through in my past. Everything with my parents. I closed my eyes to try and stop the tears but as I did, I couldn't help but think about what happened.

"Mom, why?" I asked as I looked up at my mother. "There's just some things you don't need to know, sweetheart" She looked down at me as tears fell down my face. Why was mom so aggressive towards dad? Why did he just vanish from the face of the earth. I know he left us but there must've been a good reason as to why he left. Later that night when mom was asleep, I had crept downstairs to the study. Damn it. The door was locked. I looked around everywhere quietly to find the key. I couldn't find it. I snuck back upstairs and ever so quietly crept into mom's room. There it was. The key was on her nightstand. I silently tiptoed ever and very quietly took the old brass key and went back downstairs to the study. The lock clicked the door opened. I walked inside to a very vintage and rustic looking study. This room must've been incredibly old. I went over to the desk and started looking around for answers. That's when I saw it. A newspaper. I froze. The headline. I couldn't believe it. No, I didn't want to believe it. 'MAN MURDERED BY MASS MURDERER ESTELLE' With that headline was a picture of... mom. I then found another newspaper headline. 'MASS MURDERER ESTELLE KIDNAPS YOUNG CHILD' I quickly ran out of the study, locked the room, and snuck back into my mom's room and quietly put the key back. I ran to my room and cried. I cried for hours.

"Madison..." I heard someone call my name as I knocked the door. "Go away!" I sobbed. Loki walked into the room and gently sat down beside me and placed a hand on my back. "Darling, what-why are you crying" He sounded heartbroken hearing me like this. "I can't tell you." I spoke muffled by the pillow I was crying into. "Of course, you can, Darling. Please tell me" He asked me worryingly. I slowly sat up and looked at him. My mascara had run all down my face, my eyes were bloodshot, and my voice was nothing but me choking on my words. "It's... about... m-my past" I choked. "I am not who you think I am. I'm not this so-called worthy woman" I choked again crying even more into my words. He placed a hand on each of my shoulders. "Look, you're going to be my wife. My goddess even. Please just tell me" He asked with his eyes filling with tears at seeing how hurt I was. "Fine..." I took a deep breath ready to tell him. "My dad... was murdered" I was trying so hard to build up the courage to tell him the rest. "My mother, was a mass murderer and... she kidnapped a child..." I took a deep breath again. "I was that child" I spoke as I just broke into floods of tears. "The only reason that the woman I thought was my mother all these years, is dead... is because of... me" I shut my eyes tight ready for Loki to walk out. He hadn't signed up for this. I wasn't who everyone thought I was. I wasn't sweet and innocent. I had red in my ledger, and it was gushing red.
