The cab pulled up outside my new city apartment in Lower Manhattan. I had all my stuff back home sold and I used the money to buy a totally furnished apartment, So I was excited to be able to just put all my clothes and belongings away without having to worry about furniture. I smiled as I got out the cab, "Thank-you!" I shouted to the cab driver. He smiled and waved before driving off back into the city of New York. I took a deep breath and took my bags with all my clothes upstairs. I took my key out of my pocket and I put it in the lock. I turned it. *CLICK* The door unlocked. Turning the doorknob, I stepped inside my beautiful new apartment. The walls were painted grey and grey and white furniture adorned the room. I had a huge window bench that I could read at whilst looking out across the city. I had purchased a beautiful bookcase full of classic novels and shakespearian tales. I was very much an avid reader. I did love reading Shakespeare's work and all sorts of classic tales. I smiled to myself and began to put all my clothes away. I started to think about where I could start exploring in a few days time as I wanted to give myself a day or two to just settle in and get used to my new home. I think the Empire State Building and Grand Central may be just a couple of my visits.
My phone alarm clock started buzzing. I picked it up. It was the 4th May 2012 and today I was going to start exploring. On the 1st of May I moved in to my new apartment and the 2nd and 3rd I'd spent all day at home just getting used to my new building and my new home. I did my makeup, Got dressed and grabbed my purse, phone and my apartment key. I took a deep breath and smiled. Time to go and explore! I took a cab all the way to 5th Avenue to take a look at the first landmark. The Empire State Building. It was definitely a sight to behold. Far in the distance I could also see a new looking tower that said the word "STARK" on the side. "That's definitely somewhere I'd like to explore" I said to myself. I went ahead and explored in and around the Empire State. It was incredible. When I had finished on 5th Avenue, I decided to head to 200 Park Avenue. This building was incredible. Although as I got closer, I could see a bright blue glow at the very top of the tower. I then saw a tall, black haired man dressed in green and black leather appear on the outside balcony. It was strange but I felt a strange... feeling. An unusual connection. I don't know how because I don't know this guy. I shrugged my shoulders and went ahead to explore Grand Central and the surrounding area.
A few hours had passed and all of a sudden I could hear banging, crashing and screaming. I looked outside. I saw Mr Stark falling from the tower. Within seconds, his suit managed to cover him. That is the first time I saw Iron Man with my own eyes.I'd only ever saw him on TV back in England and I never believed it to be real. Something bad was happening. I just wanted to get out. So I ran. I ran as far as I could. I glanced over my shoulder and that's when I crashed into him. I fell to the ground and as I looked up, I was met with that tall, black-haired stranger in green and black leather. He had some sort of headpiece on with huge golden horns and holding a blue glowing staff. I couldn't help but stare. His looks were so intoxicating. He rolled his eyes "Brilliant. Now I have weak mortals crashing into me!" His voice was enchanting. "I am Loki, of Asgard and I am burdened with glorious purpose!" I just froze on my knees, I was lost for words. Who is this guy? I knew people of other worlds existed but I never thought I'd ever get caught in the middle. He knelt down on one knee in front of me. "I feel like I know you" He gently said as he placed his index finger on my chin. I shook my head nervously "No, We..We've never met before" I stammered. He smirked. "I suppose not", That grin was absolutely to die for. "You look like you were made to be ruled" He spoke as he gave me a quick wink before he stood up and walked away. What just happened? I got up and dusted myself off and I ran as far as I could out of the way so I could just get a cab home. As I ran I realised there was no escaping from what was happening. I couldn't stop thinking of that man. Loki. He was clearly a man of trouble, but all I wanted to do was go and find him again.
Hours had passed and I was trapped in the middle of Manhattan. I tried finding this Loki guy to learn more about him. Suddenly I saw a Green Glow in front of me and Loki himself just appeared out of nowhere. "What is your name?" He spoke. "I am Madison" I stood tall being brave. Something about him just drew me towards him. His looks. His voice. It was all so mesmerising and enchanting. "Madison. I've never heard a name as sweet" He smirked. "Madison, I am going to ask of you something I have never asked" I nodded my head "Ask away Loki" I smiled "Wait here for me in Manhattan" he spoke "I live in Lower Manhattan if that helps" I said shyly. "Good. Return home and wait there for me. I will find you. You intrigue me. You make me want to know more" He winked. I went to place my hand on his chest but I couldn't touch him. My hand went straight through. He was like a hologram. An illusion. Was this some crazy magic? I brought my hand away as his image faded and disappeared. My heart was pounding. I felt butterflies in my stomach. I don't know this man, yet... i just wanted to touch him. I shook my head knowing how stupid I sounded. I was curious about him. So I headed home. I walked for hours but at least I wasn't anywhere near that strange fight and alien invasion thing that was going on. I took out my key and I went up to my apartment. Luckily I wasn't anywhere close to that invasion and my building was still untouched.
It was 8pm. I was sat reading Romeo & Juliet in my window. The only sound was me turning a page every few minutes. "Did my heart love till now? Forswear it, sight, for I ne'er saw true beauty until this night" a voice spoke. I jumped and turned around. It was Loki. He sounded so poetic. So shakespearian. I placed my bookmark, closed the book and put it back on my bookshelf. "Quite a collection you have here" he spoke, "I myself, am a fan of the literary works of Shakespeare" He smiled. He walked over to me "I have never met a mortal so enticing. so ravishing" He grinned "I...I...I saw on the News that your scheme was stopped. The avengers. Thor took you back home with that blue glowing cube" I questioned. "Yes. My brother may have returned me to Asgard and my Father locked me up in the dungeons for the rest of my days, But I... I am the God of Mischief. I can pull a quick trick now and then" He grinned. He was stood so tall, his hair sat on his shoulders. He was wearing a long sleeveless leather coat of sorts with a green woollen shirt underneath. He looked so casual but at the same time so royal. "So. Loki. The God of Mischief. Why are you here?" I asked. He smiled "Something about you makes me want to know more" He stepped closer. "I want you to submit to me, Madison" He placed his hand on my cheek. He felt so warm and his skin was so soft. "Submit? In what way" my voice trembled. I didn't know what to expect him to say now. "I want you to submit to my desires and urges, Madison" He whispered as his face got closer. I could feel his breath on my lips, I felt butterflies in my stomach. I just froze. I didn't know what to do. Suddenly, his warm, soft lips met with mine...
