"what if she does get to me though, Loki. I'm practically a dead woman walking" She cried into his chest. He stroked her head as he held her tightly. "You're not. I won't let her hurt you." He had fear running through his mind. He never felt any fear like this before. "Come." He said as he took her hand and took her to the kitchen in the compound. He sat me down at the kitchen island and started to make me some tea. I just sat thinking to myself. What could I do to save myself? Is there anyway I can protect myself from Hela? I started to think that maybe there wasn't anything I could do. I sat and twiddled my thumbs while Loki continued to make some tea. "Madison, Please don't worry. You're in the safest place" He said as he turned around and handed me a cup of tea. I sat and gently sipped on my tea.
"Brother!" Thor shouted. "We can't find her anywhere" He exclaimed. Loki sighed. "How hard can she be to find" Loki spoke sternly with frustration. "We can't take Madison back to Asgard as that's the first place Hela will look after trying to poison her" He and Thor sat and talked about what they could do to protect me. I continued to drink my tea and tried to calm myself down. "Madison, Myself and Thor are going to return to Asgard this evening to talk to Mother and Father. I can't take you with me as it'll be more dangerous. Are you going to be okay here?" He asked worryingly. I nodded "Yes I'll be fine, I have the rest of the Avengers to keep me company right?" I smiled trying to show him that I could be strong. I didn't want him returning home and to end up worrying about me. He came over and gave me a big hug. "If you need me, You know what to do" His hug was tight and comforting. He clearly didn't want to leave me but he knew he had to. I watched as him and Thor walked out of the compound. I went back to my room to rest some more.
Nighttime had come and the moon was full and bright. I lay in bed trying to sleep. The Avengers had all gone to patrol the compound and to keep an eye out. I closed my eyes for a moment before I heard my door slam. I looked up but my door was still closed. I slowly walked to the door and looked up and down the corridor. Nobody was there. I closed the door and went back to my bed. As I sat down, I heard a voice. "So, You're the one who's marrying my brother" I turned and there she stood. Hela Odinsdottir! I took a huge gulp. In my mind I kept repeating Loki's name in hoping that my thoughts were loud enough for him to hear them. "H-Hela... what are you d-doing here?" I asked. I used the magic Loki had taught me to conjure a knife under my bedsheet. "Well, my first attempt at trying to kill you with my poison magic had clearly failed." She spoke, Her voice was deep and struck fear into my mind. I was trying my hardest to keep my breathing under control. She waved her hand and my bedsheet had disappeared. "You're weak. Just like Loki. Daggers aren't everything my dear" She spoke as she stepped closer to my bed. My heart was racing. She got closer and closer. "Why would Odin let you marry my half-wit of a brother and one day end up ruling Asgard by his side. It should be me who rules Asgard" She conjured a knife in her hand. I thought I'd just go on a whim and try calling for help. "HELP! HELA'S HE-" She cut me off. "oh please. You really think those avengers can handle me" She waved her hand and a green glow appeared around me. "Even when they come to check on you, you won't be seen" She laughed. As she laughed, Steve came running in my room. "MADISON!" He was looking around my room. She was right. He couldn't see me. He pressed the communicator in his ear. "Guys, Madison's gone. I can't find her anywhere on the compound" All of a sudden I saw another green glow. I looked around and I was in a room surrounded by glowing orange walls... "Oh no..." She gasped. She had trapped me in the dungeons of Asgard. "LOKI! THOR! ODIN! FRIGGA! HELP!" I tried to call for help. "Don't bother. Odin and Frigga are under a spell and the prince's are nowhere near" Hela laughed. "Enjoy your time alone in here... Magnhildt" She grinned as she walked away. I sat down, hugged my knees tightly to my chest and cried.... "Loki... I need you" I sobbed. This was it. I wasn't going to see him again. I was going to lose everything. Even my life. I had never been this scared. I just needed.... Loki.
