chapter 24

"ah ah" Jungkook breathed as he turned his head to the side, not wanting to feel the sting any longer.

"boss please we have to" Jimin pleaded as he signed, holding the cotton up to the side of the younger's face.

Jungkook sighed as he turned his head back again, taking in a deep breath as Jimin fixed up his wound.

His hands were all patched up, and so was the wound on his forehead. Taehyung was taken to the hospital to check for poisoning.

Taehyung had arrived at Jeon's corporations a few minutes ago and was making his way up Jungkook's office.

He had gotten some oilment for the rope burns, but other than that he was in good condition.

Taehyung didn't even knock and instead just opened the door, slumping his body in the direction of Jungkook.

The younger looked up and didn't even have enough time to process anything as Taehyung just plopped himself down on his lap, hugging him close.

Jungkook only hugged him halfway, since his whole body hurt from climbing and dangling some much.

"thank you" Taehyung softly whispered as he sat upright, staring into Jungkook's eyes

Jungkook lazily smiled, humming as he closed his eyes, feeling very tired.

Taehyung climbed off the younger's lap as he softly slapped the younger's cheek, Jungkook groaning as he opened his eyes.

"come on, let's go home" Taehyung smiled as he helped the older up, jungkook slinging his arm over Taehyung's neck and slumping towards the elevator.

The older groaned, since Jungkook had leaned his whole body weight on him.

"Sir Jeon, Sir Kim" the man had greeted, taking Jungkook's other arm and helping him to the car, placing him in the passenger seat.

Taehyung made his way to the driver's seat as he thanked the guard, putting the key in the ignition as he started the car, pulling out of parking lot.

He really hoped no one was going to shoot them up now, he won't be able to deal with it on his own, and it looked like no bodyguard had followed them home, solely because he was with the boss.

He had safely made it home, and thanked a butler for helping him carry Jungkook up the stairs and into his bedroom.

it had been a while since he had been inside the younger's room.

Jungkook groaned, sitting upright as he looked at Taehyung throw his bangs. He was suppose to take care of the older, not the other way around.

Taehyung made his into the bathroom as he came back with a bucket of cold water and a wet cloth, pressing it softly onto the younger's forehead and down his neck

He wiped away the thin layer of sweat before pressing the back of his hand against the younger's forehead, feeling how he was burning up.

"have you eaten?"  Taehyung asked, crawling over to the side of the bed to press the black button under the nightstand.

" was too busy...." Jungkook breathed, feeling short of breath.

Taehyung hummed as he made his way back to Jungkook, softly patting the wet cloth on his head and neck to cool him down.

Jungkook tugged at his shirt, wanting to remove it since he was burning up.

" ah ah don't do that, we need to break your fever" Taehyung quickly said as he made Jungkook lay back down, covering him with the blanket.

The younger whined but felt way to weak to argue so he just stayed still, letting Taehyung press the cold cloth against his forehead.

A maid came with soup, Taehyung thanking her as he made the younger sit up again.

"I'm... suppose to take care... of you... you were kidnapped"  Jungkook tried to point out, but was quickly shut up by Taehyung shoving a spoon full soup in his mouth.

" just shut up and eat" Taehyung quickly dismissed, feeding the younger until Jungkook had enough.

Jungkook whined as he crawled under the covers, moving his head around as Taehyung pressed the cold cloth on his forehead.

Taehyung had gotten up to leave but a tug on his index finger made him look down at the flush state of the younger.

" don't leave please.... nightmares" Jungkook mumbled, trying his best to get his words out but he just felt so tired.

Taehyung nodded as he made his way over to the other side of the bed, Jungkook coughing a little.

the older had laid down on his back as Jungkook scooted closer, resting his head on Taehyung's chest. It had always been the other way around, but if felt nice, taking care of someone.

Taehyung had slowly run his fingers through Jungkook's hair, the younger humming at the feeling as he snuggled his head deeper into the material of his shirt.

"you smell nice" Jungkook randomly commented into the silence of the room, Taehyung blushing as he pressed some wet cloth down the younger's back to cool him down more.

" are you sick talking?" Taehyung questioned, finding it cute how Jungkook kept complimenting him over the random's of things.

Jungkook whined, moving his head into the crook of the olders neck as Taehyung kept pressing the cloth down his neck and his back.

Jungkook had ended falling asleep, Taehyung soon after as they finally got some rest after the long day.

it was however interrupted as Jungkook begin whining and moving in his sleep, mumbling things to himself.

Taehyung sat upright as he rubbed his eyes, looking at the clock that had showed it was only 3 in the morning.

" kook" Taehyung mumbled as he climbed out of bed, going to the bathroom to get a new wet cloth as he let it run under the cold water.

He made his way back into the bathroom as he gently wiped away the younger's sweat.

"please don't go" Jungkook mumbled as he turned his head.

"I'm right here" Taehyung answered back, even though he knew the younger wasn't speaking to him, he felt the need to say it out loud.

"right here" Taehyung mumbled again as he felt sleep crawl up on him, and soon he found his elf asleep on the floor, his head resting on Jungkook's lower leg.
