- Hannah did not want to go to school

- Dallas didn't care

-"I want you to graduate. You can do shit with a high school diploma, but not if you're a catholic school dropout."

- "Then why don't you go back to school?"

- "I don't wanna."

- He didn't even tell her she was enrolled

- Dallas hid a school bag in Buck's car and then lied to her so that she'd get in the car with him

- "Tim got in shit again and needs us to back him up."

- Pulls up to the school

- "Sike bitch, you thought."

- Any classes she doesn't have with Ponyboy she has with Johnny

- Pony was put up a year and Johnny was held back, so they're all in ninth grade

- Both are given very explicit instructions to keep an eye on Hannah

- History first period with Ponyboy

- Going through attendance and the teacher just stares at her

- "Any chance you're related to Dallas Winston?"

- Hannah stares right back

- "And what if I am?"

- All the teachers learn that they can't send her to the office by herself

- Otherwise, she'll just leave the entire building

- Also gave the office the wrong number, so they can never snitch on her to Dallas

- Buck had to pretend to be her father to get her out of detention the first time

- Thank God Dallas was in jail at the time

- Has only gotten dress coded once

- It was awful

- The middle of June, so it's hot

- And Hannah's in a tank-top

- It was a decent day until a younger teacher came up behind her and snapped her bra strap

- Two-Bit and Ponyboy saw the entire thing

- If it was a kid, Hannah would've beaten him up immediately

- But this was a teacher

- She kept her jacket on for the rest of the day :(

- Two-Bit knows Hannah won't say anything, so he tells Dallas

- Tells him the teacher had been watching her and just being weird ever since she showed up in class

- So he slashes his tires and keys his car

- Tried jumping him too, but the gang stopped him

- Scratches creep on one side and pedo on the other

- There was no chance in hell Dallas was gonna let that guy get away with what he did

- This teacher does not come back for the new year

- Darry may have said something to the school board :)

- History and gym are her best subjects

- Hannah is a god at dodgeball

- Dallas helps her with math

- Every question Hannah gets right, he takes a shot

- She gets in so many fights

- At least three a week

-  Dallas doesn't care as long as she wins

-  For a guy who says he doesn't care, Dallas was so proud when she got an A

- Hannah didn't even tell him, the test just fell out of her pocket

- He thought it was a note saying that she was causing trouble again

- But no, it's a math exam with a big red 93% in the corner

- Buck is like a proud father is this close to taping it to the fridge

- Dallas just throws his arm around her shoulder

- "I'm proud of you, kid."
