Death 13 part 2

I pulled down my long sleeve to cover my cuts. I feel ashamed. Not for the baby, but for Kakyoin. I want to tell everyone so bad that he's the Stand user. But it will sound so ridiculous. If he were a grown man this will be a different story. But since he's baby there's nothing we can really do. He's like untouchable.

I tugged once on his leg pants. He knows everytime when I do this I want to be picked up. And if I tugged it a couple of times he knows I want to say something to him. But this time is different. He gracefully had me in his arms and I gave him a hug around his neck. I let out a tear drop. And whispered in his arm.

"It's ok. At least you're not alone"

When he heard me say that, he hug me back tighter.

"Thank you (N/N)... I love you..."

(Y/N) pov

More time was passing by. The sky was getting darker and darker. Soon we will all start getting tired. Tho for the current time being we're just sitting around the campfire, having our dinner. It was more of those packaged meals you get when theirs nothing else to eat.

But for right now I honestly didn't feel like eating. So did Kakyoin too. I'm just going through my thoughts of what's been happening. First I almost killed everyone and now this! I'm even second guessing myself if that damn baby really is the Stand user. This is all so frustrating, it's eating me alive.

From the other side of the campfire I could even hear Polnareff complaining to Jotaro on what's been going all day. He's even talking about how Kakyoin is at his wits end, how his actions is making me follow in his foot-steps, and how he should go back home.

All that talk makes me more angry than I'm already am. After talking a deep breath I was getting up to see if anyone wants my leftovers, but then I saw a scorpion near the baby. I whispered to Kakyoin to look at the baby and the scorpion that was near him. He told me to wait and see if this really is a normal baby so I did just that. The others were distracted so we had no problem.

The scorpion was getting closer and closer to the baby. It lunges at him, ready to attack him. Then the baby pulls out his pin he used to hold his diaper to stab the scorpion. Making it die by the sharp stab. The baby wipes his head in relief but then turns to us watching him. Now we know we're not blind. We we're right.

Kakyoin-"Mister Joestar, Polnareff, did you see that?"

Joseph-"Huh?"

Kakyoin-"-That baby's not normal! He just killed a scorpion!"

(Y/N)-"His right! I saw it with my own eyes! He just stabbed it! The baby skewered it with his own safety pin!"

Joseph-"Kakyoin, (Y/N), hold on. The hell are you two talking about?"

(Y/N)-"We're saying that baby's not a baby!"

Kakyoin-"He's not even a year old, yet he knew what a scorpion is. And he killed it with those tiny hands of his!"

Joseph-"A scorpion!?"

We ran over to the baby basket. "Where is it?" Old man picks the baby up and inspects him for any scorpions on him. " It's in here!" While me and Kakyoin checked the basket. We lifted up the pillow and blanket desperately searching for that small animal.

Kakyoin-"There should be an impaled scorpion in here!"

After the a few more seconds of searching we concluded...

(Y/N)-"It's gone?"

Joseph-"hm..."

(Y/N)-"We swear it's true! He hid it somewhere!"
