D'Arby the Gambler, Part 2

D'Arby-"Are you two done? I gotta say poker is my favorite game but Black Jack comes in like a close second!

Avdol-"Black Jack? This is a man who just outsmarted Mr. Joestar! It's too dangerous!"

(Y/N)-"Yeah, we know.

Jotaro-"He may not use strength, but he's the most dangerous Stand we've ever faced."

(Y/N)-"Well...no turning back now, JoJo."

(Y/N) POV

D'Arby-"Before we get started, there's something i wanna check. Those cards that you shuffled. I just want to see if there fair and that you're not the one cheating."

He pointed at the cards on the middle of the table which I just shuffled. I took a sigh and put my hand on my cheek.

(Y/N)-"Funny how you're the one talking to me as if I'm cheating when you're the one cheating us. But by all means, check."

I spoke rather dryly. I watched him pick up the deck then inspect them. We watched him very very carefully to see if he wouldn't pull something again. Taking a moment to look through each card if it was all right. Even shuffled them again one last time so he wouldn't remember each card. But we saw what he was doing. When he felt satisfied enough he put the deck back in the middle.

(Y/N)-"Hold it right there, mister"

D'Arby-"Pardon me?"

Jotaro-"Draw a card from the deck. It doesn't matter where. Just make sure no one else sees it."

D'Arby-" very well"

He picked up a bit from the deck. To where only he can see the cards.

Jotaro-"I'll tell you which one it is: the six of hearts. I'll name the cards in order from the top."

I just kept looking at D'Ardy as Jotaro guessed all 9 cards right. He always so impressive, I'll give him that. D'Ardy wasn't completely shock, he was still composed though he let of a bit of a gasp that he saw through his trick. Of course he would shuffle them to where he has the advantage.

Avdol was surprised though when Jotaro said the exact cards. I know what D'Ardy did. People will do the same trick he used too, back in the bars of my town. I would look through the windows of the bar to see any fights or just about anything for entertainment when I didn't want to go home.

(Y/N)-"Honestly, we can name the entire deck if we wanted to. Star Platinum and Morning Spring saw the order of the cards when they were shuffled."

D'Ardy-"How interesting. But all I have to do is shuffle the cards where the two of you can't see them."

Jotaro-"Don't you get it?"

(Y/N)-"Its not going to be so easy for you anymore to cheat with us as your opponent, pal. Just giving you a heads up."

Jotaro-"We're both not fucking around anymore"

A single sweet drop slip down D'Ardy forehead.

D'Ardy-"Good."

D'Ardy took out another pack of cards. But this pack of cards was different. It's the one with a security seal. Which means these cards are safe because they haven't been touched. Jotaro broke the seal and lay them all down to inspect them. To which there's one joker and it's a normal deck. On D'Ardy side he has a little cart next to him with drinks and a book. With his right hand he lifted one of the random pages close to the ending and flipped through them without looking. While on my end I was hyping myself up. For a little encouragement.

'Alright (Y/N). You can do it this! All you have to do is win a game of Black Jack against the world's biggest cheater. That will take of our  souls if you lose. No problem, right? You can definitely win this! You have Jotaro on you're side so you should be afraid! And taking back you're family chips will you give more of a objective to win. We have to save to save Mrs. Holly. No matter the cost. I'll do anything for you JoJo. Even go to Hell for you, all of you. After what all 6 of you guys have done for me can never be re-payed. So I'll help in anyway I can! Just by staying by one you guys side give me all the strength I need to defeat any enemy!' I thought to myself.
