Nakarating kami ng condo 6 pm na. I went straight to my room and took a shower. I ordered food tapos lumabas ng kwarto. But to my surprise he's still here, cooking. Akala ko umuwi sya kasi hindi naman sya nagsalita.

"You're still here?" I asked then get myself a diet juice.

"Why keep you frowning pag nakikita mo ako. Should I really go? Ayaw mo ba talagang nandito ako?" He asked.

"Bakit ikaw na yung galit ngayon?! Ano yan susuko ka na?" I asked slightly shouting.

"No. At least stop with the eye rolling. I'm trying my best here." He said then get plates. Nakita ko pang parang nagpunas sya ng luha. Lumabas ako nung tumawag si PJ. Nagpunta ako sa condo nya at dun pinadeliver yung pagkain ko.

"Hanggang Monday pa off mo diba?" Nagtatakang tanong nya.

"May duty na rin yung bestfriend ko dun. And I need to fix my condo. Two weeks ng walang naglilinis." I said tapos dumiretso kami sa bar counter nya. Nagluluto din pala sya. After few minutes dumating yung delivery ko.

"You're really sticking with that diet meal plan." He asked laughing nung nakita nyang may 10 na bento box ako.

"Do you like? Libre ko na." I said half laughing nung tinaas nya yung kilay nya.

"It's friday today. No night out?" He asked nung kumakain na kami.

"Netflix na lang tayo. May tequila ka dito?" I asked.

"Meron, may black label pa boss." He said laughing. After naming nagdinner, I forced him to watch Grey's while we are drinking.

"So, are you guys like back together?" He asked.

"Not yet. But how can I make sure I'll never get hurt again?" I asked then poured him a drink.

"Wala. As long as you're loving, you'll be hurting. Nothing comes without pain and sacrifices. When you decide to let them in your life, you're giving them the power to hurt you. You just need to see who's worth trying and who's worth the pain." He said while still looking at the monitor.
I'm just staring at him with nothing on my mind.

"Your phone keeps ringing. Don't keep him waiting, baka mapagod sya tapos magsisi ka." He said.

"Edi mapagod sya. Baka hanggang dun lang yun pagmamahal nya." I said then took another shot.

"Tss. Everyone not just him, when people no longer see the interest and chance with someone, it's natural to give up. There's always a fight that will stop you from trying. So you decide, either give him a chance to prove himself to you or live the rest of your life thinking what would happen if you tried." He said. Then smiled at me genuinely.

"Thanks, Peej. Alis na ako. Pray it's for the best." I said then heard him laughing.

Pagbalik ko ng condo nakaupo sya sa stool at busy sa laptop nya. Binaba ko lang yung diet meal sa counter at niyakap sya. He turned around and carried me to sit in the counter. I'm still hugging him tapos nakatayo sya sa harap ko.

"Prove to me everyday that it's worth trying again. Juan Miguel, one mistake then you're out." I said then looked at him. He kissed me quickly.

"Thank you, baby. I missed hearing you say may name. I love you." He said then smiled.

"Kumain kana?" I asked. He shook his head which made me frown.
