ℝ𝕌ℕℕ𝔼ℝ: 𝔸 ℕ𝕖𝕨𝕥 𝔽𝕒𝕟𝕗𝕚𝕔𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟

𝟒𝟕. 𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐒𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

He was fighting Thomas, and from the flash of metal I saw he had a knife. I tried to see through blurred vision as I ran finally reaching them as I pushed Thomas away from Newt, the knife plunging into my arm as I screamed out in pain, pulling it out and wrenching it from his grip before he came at me, hands wrapping around my throat. Through blurred vision, lack of air, and absolute pain I still somehow managed to rip myself out of his grip and pulled the syringe out, pushing Newt to the ground as he thrashed beneath me, I screamed at Thomas to help me and he did as I held his arm down, finding the vein and plunging the syringe into him. Pushing the serum into him. He stopped moving and I hoped he was still alive. I put my finger against his neck and felt a pulse breathing out a sigh of relief as Benda came over to us. As Thomas walked off not saying a word The others came, thinking Newt was dead, I told them he wasn't and to bring him back to the Berg. Minho nodded and him and Gally began carrying him back to the Berg as I ran off to stop Thomas from being an idiot, hoping that even though Newt was so far gone, the serum would still work on him and cure him completely.I found Thomas talking to Dr. Paige in a Hallway. Suddenly there was a gunshot and Dr. Paige's body hit the floor revealing Rat Man holding a gun. He then shot darts into both of our necks and we began blacking out. As Thomas toppled over I tried to run at Rat Man but I fell to the floor blacking out.

I woke up to Teresa working on the cure using both Thomas and Me for it, unfortunately Rat Man was there as well. As Rat Man explained what he was going to do with us Teresa knocked him out before beginning to undo Thomas's restraints. Rat Man popped up again and began fighting Teresa over the syringe as Thomas got out of his restraints and helped me out of mine, before Rat Man knocked Teresa out, Thomas began to fight Rat Man as I checked on Teresa. I joined fighting Rat Man quickly after and just as it looked like one of us would be killed an explosion came into our area giving, Teresa, Thomas and I enough of a chance to get out of that area. We reached another medbay when Thomas dropped to the floor revealing he'd been stabbed. As Thomas begged us to go Rat Man came into the room with a gun when we silently thought of a plan to escape, causing random noises as we all shifted around the room. Teresa got caught and as he taunted Teresa more he began to taunt us as well threatening to shoot Teresa as Thomas and I lugged a chair past him into the crank wall, releasing cranks onto Janson,letting us escape, Teresa and I helping Thomas walk as the building was engulfed in flames. We reached the oof and noticed everything around us was on fire. Thomas fell over and we all stayed on the rooftop accepting our fates. All of us crying over one thing or another, Teresa saying she was sorry to us before Thomas kissed her. Suddenly the Berg appeared and I felt my adrenaline rush wearing off as the arm that got stabbed and shot began throbbing more painful than anything else. We got over and Minho and Gally helped me up before helping Thomas, the last thing I saw was Teresa falling before hearing a voice I'd only hoped I'd hear again before everything went black.
