(A/N- Chris will be stated as Delphine or Mal hereafter so that there won't be any confusion! )
She was still not used to the fact that she was Delphine.
"Come down for breakfast you two!"
They heard their sweet mother's voice echoing. It's been 4 weeks since she arrived home from St.Mungo's. The shock of Draco being her 'twin' was an ultimate highlight.
"Twin? Your my twin?! Are you serious?! No, no you must be joking."
she stated. While Draco was on about how good he was at flying, he was chanting that him being the eldest twin gave him a lot of responsibilities and that's when Delphine fell of her bed. Draco rolled his eyes at her stupidity.
"Nice going lil sis. Now, l have to check the mail for the letter."
he said, hopping off from her bed. Straightening his clothes he left the room.
' I'm his twin. I'M HIS TWIN SISTER! This this getting even worse! God! Why this tragedy! Why this destiny! I have to seriously kill myself for getting into this mess.'
'Reminder: You are supposed to be long dead but good for you-' started Gazeel but Mal cut her off.
'Daily reminder: YOU ARE NOT allowed to interrupt my thoughts for no reason!'
After a long time of huffing, hitting the bed (and causing a major damage due to her magic), getting an earful from Gazeel and fixing it, she decided to follow Draco to see if she really will be going to Hogwarts.
'Delph- uh, love would you mind if l check you're hands? They look like they are bleeding'
asked her mum when she noted a few cuts in her hands. Over the past few weeks, her mother had noticed that her daughter didn't like being called 'Delphine' very often. She didn't want her daughter to feel uncomfortable in any way, so she decided to go along with it.
'What? Oh! Sorry mum, it happened when I was sulking.'
she said, embarrassed.
"And also, I have decided on a nickname for you: 'Mal,' as in Malfoy, you know. What do you think?"
her mum asked her.
"That sounds nice, Mum, Mal huh?" she commented absentmindedly while stuffing the croissants on the table, as her mum tended to her cuts.
"Mhmm. It was your father's suggestion, actually. I told him about your discomfort and he seemed to agree with it too."
responded her mum, smiling. It's not that Delphine doesn't like to be called by the name her parents had given her. It was a beautiful name. But she just couldn't get used to it since her previous name was short and sweet whereas this one was long. So wanting to make it easier, she planned on going with Mal.
"You do know that I love the name you both gave me right? It's just that-"
"I know, love. You don't have to explain it to me. Just remember that we love you, no matter what." Mal smiled and hugged her. She never expected the Malfoy's to be like this but she found it way better than their characteristics in J.K.R's books.
After a few days Draco's wait was credited. Their letters had arrived and not wasting a minute more after showing it to their mum, he dragged Mal into the fireplace and flooed to Uncle Regulus's place.
'Aunt Isabella!'
he went, screaming with joy leaving her in Awe.
'I combined Starry skies and gardenias with Harry Potter. That means Regulus Black is alive, and Voldemort should be dead. But in her memories he gave Harry the scar. How? What did I plot? '
