Chapter 13

Time literally started to slow down as I got to the middle of the forest. I tried to move my feet faster, but a strange force slowed everything down. I knew what was coming. And I was right.

Bill appeared. He twirled his cane beside me. "Well well Eleanor, can't believe you even tried to tell them what is going on."

I cringed at his presence. "I can."

"I admire your persistence, but it's time to help me out!" He said.

My heart dropped in fear. "Uh-"

"You see, Pine Tree and Shooting Star's, 'Gruncle Stan' has something very big going on." He informed me.

I stared at him astonished. "W-what? That old guy?"

"Yah, he's building a portal, I need you to help him, but you need to make some...hm...alterations to it." Bill said slyly.

Fear coursed through me. "What t-type of alterations?" I asked terrified.

"Oh don't worry. I'll input the instructions into your mind!" He said elated.

"What?! Don't you dare touch my, my brain!" I said mortified.

Bill laughed. "To late!" He snapped his fingers and images flashed across his body.

My eyes widened and started to reflect the images as I took them in.

Bill snapped his fingers again and it stopped.

I dropped to the ground, feeling weak. I shakily got up. "No. I won't do it."

Bills hand lit up. "Then I'll make you." He lifted his hand an levitated me up.

"No! Please don't hurt me!" I begged. "I won't try to tell them anymore! I'll do what you want!"

He dropped me back down.

I hit the ground with a thud.

Bill flew down and patted my head. "Good." He said. He zipped back up. "Well, see yah later!" A giant warp whole appeared and he disappeared.

I opened my eyes and found myself sitting on the forest floor. I got up and we ready to run back to the twins, but I knew I couldn't so I had to suck it up and walk home solemnly.
