Dipper
I walked deep into the forest. The last time I was here was when we went to help Eleanor. "Pft, she's not getting any help now." I pushed a branch aside and swerved to avoid a thick patch of bushes. Up ahead was another clearing. "What?" I whispered silently. I stepped out of the forest. It was a huge mansion-like-house. It had a large porch, a small grass lawn and it was two story by the looks of it.
I tensed up when I heard a gasp followed by retreating foot steps. I quickly looked to my right and saw Eleanor running away.
The first thought to pop into my mind was. This is her house? That thought was followed by. She's running away again. Of course! I took off after her.
At the moment I really wanted Mabel's grappling hook to catch Eleanor. Then again, that would really hurt. All I could do was run.
Eleanor, she could run fast! She dodged trees, sailed over logs and would leap over piles of brush like a gazelle.
I started to grow tired. I was not athletic, I was a young genus. Well, kind of. I stumbled, but quickly recovered. Stop running!!! I screamed inside my head.
Eleanor started to slow, but I was slowing to so I wasn't gaining on her.
I started to gather confidence when she slowed even more.
Eleanor was almost jogging now.
I leapt at her and she jumped.
"Got yah!" I screamed triumphantly.
Suddenly, a bright light flashed where she was and she disappeared.
I screamed as I fell onto the forest floor. "What the?!" I looked around wildly.
Eleanor had disappeared into thin air, right before my eyes.
I scrambled back in fear.
She was just gone.
Something weird was defiantly going on.
