Every time Eleanor left, Mabel was mad at me and I ended up having to find a way to apologize to her. So, here I was again, trying to find a way to apologize to her. "Mabel," I was saying. ", I couldn't find a way to help were without bringing out the journal!" I said extremely annoyed.

Mabel rolled her eyes dramatically. "Sure." She muttered.

"It's true! I wanted her to leave so I could look through the journal!" I explained.

Mabel leaned back on her bed. "Mhm." She murmured.

"I'm not lying! So, help me out here." I went onto my bed and Mabel followed. I opened the journal and Mabel leaned in to gaze upon the pages. I flipped quickly to the page with Bill displayed on it. "Ok, don't summon, blah blah...nothing about deals." I said.

Mabel loomed over my shoulder. "What about that?" She asked as she pointed to the side.

"Uh, yah, that doesn't mean anything. It's useless like the rest of this information. Actually, it's less useless, it's just a jumble of letters." I told Mabel.

Mabel sat back down. "Well...what do you think the deal was?"

I turned towards her. "What do you mean?"

"Like, what was her part of the deal? What do you think?"

I set the journal down, stumped. "Uh, I don't know, but it must have been pretty important that she'd risk her own blood. She said herself she sensed the evil in him, so she must have wanted it bad." I inferred.

"Yah. I agree." Mabel sighed. "So, we can't help her?" She asked.

I looked up sadly. "I guess we can't..."
