YAY CHAPTER 50!! Finally!! :D
I was yanked and throne around in the blue light. I couldn't help, but scream, because it felt like turmoil. I was suddenly flung out of the portal and into a black and white universe. It looked like an old film of space and I was the only color in here.
"Well, well, well. That was quicker than I imagined!" Bill materialized in front of me.
"Bill, I need help. I don't want to kill anybody! And, I don't want to be a dream demon!" I said straight up.
Bill shrugged. "Oh, being a dream demon is fun! You'll learn to love it! Just me and you floating around in oblivion, talking about how to destroy peoples fates. It'll certainly be a lot more fun with someone else to actually talk to."
"No Bill! I don't want to ruin people's lives! Just let me go! You can't force me to do stuff with you for 'fun.'"
"Of course I can! You'll die if you don't follow my lead." Bill said cheerfully.
I swallowed nervously. How am I going to do this? I turned away from Bill. "Isn't there a special food I can have without killing people?!" I asked.
"Hm, let me think. Nope!"
"So you've been running around killing innocent people for who knows how many years?!" I couldn't believe this. Bill had actually seemed so nice and caring and trustworthy, but it was hard to believe it was just an act.
"Um, I guess so!" Bill smiled. "Again, I want to thank you so so very much for bringing me into the real world to make all of this possible."
"No. You made me, Bill." I answered curtly.
"Yeah, there is that tiny detail, but its already happened so, what can you do?"
I wanted to kill Bill right then and there. "You are horrible Bill. I can't believe I ever trusted you...you've never cared about anyone or anything. You don't even care about me."
Bill seemed hesitant for just a second before he answered. "Sure, I guess that's right." He flew to me. "So, what's that thing you need help with again?"
I growled. "A way to not starve."
Bill smiled devilishly. "Follow me and I'll show you how its done." Bill grabbed my hand before I could answer and he snapped his finger and teleported us into oblivion.
