You were still frozen in your seat. Not knowing what to say or do as you stared at the pictures of your dad in a hydra suit, your mother next to him.

"You still think I'm lying?" The scientist asked, pulling the box away from you.

"How do I know thats real? It could be edited. I would've known if my own parents were hydra." Your voice was barely over a whisper.

"Well...I guess you don't. So whether you believe me or not is up to you." He laughed, pulling a chair up in front of you and sitting down. Placing his lower, left leg on the top of his right knee horizontally. And running each of his fingers against the one opposite it.

"Tell me everything." You plucked up the courage to as, not wanting your whole life to be a lie anymore.

"Very well then." He paused. "Your 'parents' who you know as Kate L/N and Ryan L/N, are some of our finest HYDRA agents."

"Our finest? So you're HYDRA?" It all started to click into place. "What would HYDRA want with me?"

"Indeed we are. Your fake parents were sent to take you away from your real parents when you were 4 months old." He carried on, completely ignoring your second question.

"Who are my real parents?" You licked away the tear falling down your cheek.

"Richard Parker and Mary Parker. They were shield agents."

"What do you mean were? What happened to them?"

"See... they were getting in our way. So we simply had to eliminate them. Trust me we were doing you a favour." He told you simply, smiling at you as if nothing had happened at all.

"You killed them?" You never even got to meet them, and neither were you going to get a chance to.

"Well, not me in particular. But yes."

If you weren't tied up you'd of snapped his neck by now, slowly and painfully. But you were. Meaning you had to listen to all the bullshit he was throwing at you.

"From there we had your fake parents raise you. And your aunt took your brother in after your real ones died."

Brother?

"What? What brother?" You squinted your eyes, trying to make sense of it all.

"Oh yes. Whoops. Must have slipped my mind. Peter Parker."

Peter Parker..? Spider-man. You'd heard Stark talk about him before. You hadn't met him yet though. He can't be your brother. Surely.

"Stop."

"You're in denial. I'll give you time to process things, and then I'll tell you anything else you want to know."

As he reached the door you stopped him.

"No, wait. I want to know more. I need to know more." You pleaded. Peering down at the floor.

He walked back over to you, sitting back down in his same position from before.

"Kate and Ryan raised you your whole life, as you know. The day your dad-"

"He's not my dad." You cut him off.

"-Ryan." He continued. "Faked his death, is when the plan started to fall into place."

"What plan?" You were growing impatient.

"If you shut up for a damn second maybe I'd get to it."

Shooting him a glare you decided to save the questions until the end. Unless you felt the need to say something.

"We needed to get you away from school. They were onto us, so we used that as our excuse. Knowing the suspicion would be turned into sympathy. The day we found out about the school trip we knew it was the right time to set you up with your powers."

You cut him off again.

"That was you? You bastards did that? What the fuck is wrong with you you psychopaths."

Your emotions were sky-high. You felt betrayed. Scared. Confused. But you also felt a new level of anger. The intensity of the feeling being new and a lot stronger than it had ever been before. You then felt the tugging on your wrists caused by the rope stop. You were so out of it that you didn't even realise you'd broken out of your restraints until you realised you were bolting out of your chair and towards the scientist. You dived at him trying to grab him but you fell straight through him and onto the chair he was sat on. You looked around wildly, seeing him now behind you instead. You dived at him again, only to end up face planting your chair this time.

"Teleportation." He stated. "Handy, no?"

You shot your webs at him only for them to end up making contact with the floor as he now stood in the doorway. Slamming it shut and leaving you alone in your thoughts. You ran up to the door, frantically trying to pry it open. But it wouldn't budge. Eventually, you gave up, sliding down the back of it, knees held up to your chest and your head in your hands. What the hell had just gone off.
