Ok, so originally this chapter was going to come later on....but i decided to put it now. however, i think i'm going to change my mind on that because something was suppose to happen involving Brody's ability before this chapter was going to happen so this chapter might get moved back a few and if that does happen, i'll let you all know so it doesnt get confusing when you try and read the next chapter and your all like what? haha ao ya, i'll let you guys know if i'm going to push this chapter back....so enjoy it anyway :) vote, comment and FAN!!!!
CHAPTER 26
Why am I such a horrible person? I was lying on my bed staring up at the ceiling. Brody was sitting on the couch trying to comfort me
"Brody, why am I such a horrible person?" I said while making little circles of air with my finger
"Delilah, you're not a horrible person. You did what you had to do to keep Zane safe and from finding out and if he took it the wrong way, then it's his fault"
"You don't get it Brody. It's eating away my insides" I said sitting up to look at Brody. "I can't stand lying to Zane. He was my boyfriend and my best friend. I feel horrible lying to him especially about something this big. Brody, he told me everything, he trusted me and I blew it. I lied to him"
Brody sighed. "Delilah, I know you feel bad but you did the right thing. You'll get over it, eventually"
I sighed and laid back down. "I don't know if I will Brody..."
Brody sighed again. "Well I don't know what else to tell you Delilah"
"Then don't tell me anything else"
"Well alright then"
"I'm sorry Brody I just need some time"
"Well I guess I'll leave you to your thoughts" he said standing up
"Alright" I said, not looking up. "I'll see you at dinner"
I heard my door close and I sat up.
I had to tell Zane. If I didn't tell him soon, it was going to kill me. I looked at my clock. It was seven thirty. I guess I could go now and try and find Zane to tell him everything...I got off my bed and grabbed my jacket off my desk chair
I slipped it on and made my way to the cafeteria. I walked in and looked around. It was packed as usual but I hadn't really been paying attention to things around me for the last few weeks...
I walked over to the table where Galda, Trad, Zane and I usually sat and I saw all of them sitting there laughing. Zane's back was to me so I walked up to the table with shaky legs. What would Zane's reaction be when I told him? I reached the table and I sat down next to Zane careful to leave a reasonable amount of space between us. I put my arms on the table and looked down at my lap
"Oh hey Delilah" said Galda happily
I gave a small smile and kept looking down. I felt Zane's gaze on me but I ignored it
"Do you want something to eat?" she asked
I shook my head and took a deep breath
"Actually" I said picking my head up. "Zane, can I talk to you for a minute?" I looked at Galda and Trad staring at me. "In private"
Zane looked at me a little angry. "And why should I let you?" he said coldly
"Because I have something to say and if you were a gentleman you would grow a dick a listen"
Zane's cheeks turned red in anger and he stood up. "Fine"
He left the table and walked ahead of me I ran to catch up with him and he led me to a deserted hallway. He whipped around and stared at me coldly
