CHAPTER 49
I was floating
Slowly drifting along as I vanished from this world to another
I felt free
Free from suffering
Free from anxiety
Just, free
I was strolling along the whereabouts of nowhere
Just wandering the realms of the oblivious
I saw a bright light ahead and happily skipped over as it grew bigger
Never had I felt so alive in my life
The light grew bigger and bigger as I came closer
As I approached it I noticed that it was not a place or entrance, rather a person
That person smiled at me and held out their hand
I took it and was guided to an unknown location
I smiled and skipped as we warily made our way to his world
I turned and looked at the person
They looked familiar
“Do I know you” I asked
My voice sounded like bells ringing and a melodic tone flowing out of my lips
“I believe you do” the person answered
His voice too sounded familiar
“Have we met before? I’m new here and don’t really know anyone”
“Why my dear, of course you do, I believe you know everyone here”
More dots of light appeared and grew bigger as people came into view
Each person had a familiar face
Each with its own special quality
I greeted everyone
Everyone here seemed so friendly, so kind
It was almost as if it was I felt a connection between each one
Like they were a part of me
“Wow, everyone looks so familiar” I said looking around in awe
“They should” said the man.
“But I don’t know any of these people”
“Think hard my child. I believe you know everyone in this room, and they know you. Delilah”
I turned to the man with my mouth open
“Woah! How do you know my name?!”
“Think hard”
I shut my eyes and thought as hard as I could but I couldn’t remember anything
I opened my eyes and walked around the people studying each of their faces closely.
They all smiled at me
I smiled back
I turned back to the man and looked into his eyes
