Wolfgang Nachtstern drove his Aston Martin Vantage Coupe down the highway towards where Lucille had told him Hope was. He was concerned about her, seeing as she had not answered her phone and wasn't at the Salvatore School. He slowed down as he approached his girlfriend's location.

Hope was standing at a gas station next to Lizzie's car. The tribrid glanced at Lizzie and Josie before she opened the boot to the car. Ryan Clarke was inside, tied up as he looked at the tribrid.

"You have 30 seconds to convince me of your plan." Hope stated, crossing her arms. The Mikaelson watched him expectantly before deciding to speed things up, "28 seconds now."

"If Malivore's still sending monsters, that means there has to be a portal." Clarke explained, trying his hardest to convince her, "I can lead you to it."

"Five seconds. How?"

"Those portals are Malivore mud. You know what else is made of that stuff?" Landon's brother asked, "Me. One locator spell and we both can finally be free."

A sleek black Aston Martin pulled up beside them, the driver rolling down his window. Hope looked over at him and couldn't help but smile despite herself. He was dressed in a black three-piece suit, a dark blue shirt complimenting the dark colour. He was smiling at her, his hair done up in that familiar style.

"That terribly old car looks like it'll give out any second now." Wolfgang said in his accented voice, "Could I offer you a lift?"

"I was told not to get in cars with hot strangers." Hope countered, smiling sweetly at him. Wolfgang's lips curved upwards into his signature smirk as he took off his Ray-Bans, "What about getting into a car with your divinely handsome boyfriend?"

"I'm not sure I want to go with you if you're gonna keep up the flirting." Clarke said, rolling his eyes at the couple. Wolfgang frowned, narrowing his eyes as he glanced toward Hope, "Who's in the boot, love?"

"Clarke." Hope answered. She rolled her cerulean eyes at the mention of his name before letting out a deep sigh. It seemed Wolfgang wasn't the only one who had had a long week, "He's alive and so is Malivore."

"Shove him in the back." The Nachtstern vampire said. He wasn't too surprised that yet another person who had died in Mystic Falls had returned to life. It was just the way things went in that cursed town, "Don't wreck my seats."

Hope laughed at that, shaking her head at how he had easily adapted to the situation. The Mikaelson tribrid grabbed Clarke by the arm and dragged him out of the car. She looked him over, making sure he was still tied up before pushing him into the back of Wolfgang's car. Then, Hope walked around the front and took a seat beside Wolfgang. The auburn-haired woman leaned over, kissing her boyfriend on the cheek.

"How'd you find us anyway, honey?" Hope asked, her beautiful blue eyes fixed on Wolfgang as he checked behind him using the mirror. He let out a sigh, meeting her gaze for a moment, "Locator spell. You didn't answer your phone."

"Sorry for that. Been a little busy."

Wolfgang nodded in understanding as he turned the key over again, the engine of the car roaring to life. "How about you tell me all about it?"

The hunter revved the engine of his car before pulling away. After a moment, Lizzie and Josie ran out of the small store, recognising the Nachtstern's Aston Martin as it drove off. The vampire was going too fast for either of them to catch up, even in Lizzie's Camaro.

The Nachtstern vampire pulled over outside a small café, getting out of the car as Hope did the same. Wolfgang smiled at her, handing over the car keys as they entered the café. It was short work for Wolfgang to compell everyone to leave and order all the waiters except one to go into the back. The last waiter attended to them, Hope and Wolfgang ordering some food.
