Wolfgang watched on as Hope moved in her sleep, showing the first few signs of awakening as sunlight streamed through her slightly open window, illuminating the auburn hair that was spread haphazardly around her face. The Nachtstern smiled, brushing her hair away as he continued to watch her before the Mikaelson cracked open an eye, looking past him as she tried to shake away the confines of sleep.

"Wolf?" Hope questioned and the Nachtstern nodded, tilting her head up to meet her gaze as his lips curved into his crooked grin, "Yes, my love?"

"Did you not sleep?" Hope questioned and Wolfgang let out a sigh, sitting up as he extricated his arm from beneath Hope's head as the tribrid opened her other eye, running a hand through his dark hair as he looked around her dorm room, trying to find where he put his shirt, "I rarely do, Geliebte."

Wolfgang let out a sigh, rising from the bed as he pulled his jumper from yesterday on, locating his suit jacket as he slipped on his shoes. Hope watched him, rubbing at her eyes to get rid of the last of her sleepiness as the Nachtstern stood up, pulling on his suit jacket as he fixed his hair.

"I have some business to attend to but I'll be back in time for Emma's meeting." Wolfgang explained as he walked towards the door of Hope's dorm, the Mikaelson watching him intently as he turned around, opening the door, "I'll see you later, Hope."

Wolfgang took a seat beside Hope as Emma Tig gathered the Salvatore School students in the gym. In front of the witch was a box upon a pedestal and Wolfgang frowned, confused as to why he was actually there.

"Did you get a haircut?" Hope asked and Wolfgang smiled as he leaned back in his chair, turning to the tribrid as he ran a hand through his hair. He'd had his hair trimmed to the usual professional standard - The hunter had trimmed the top so that it reached just below the eyes rather than to his chin, the sides and back were considerably lower, blended into the longer hairs at the top. Wolfgang's hair was styled upwards in that unique way where it appeared to be natural, but the presence of a comb and hair products was unmistakable, "Nice of you to notice, love, do you like it?"

"It looks good." Hope replied and Wolfgang was about to say something about how he was literal perfection but the tribrid pointed towards the front, where Emma was waiting for them to finish their conversation, giving the couple a knowing look as she faced the assembled group.

"As supernaturals, we all carry a burden. Our eyes are open to evil. And recently, you've had to face it. Some of us process these traumas by suppressing what happened." Emma explained, "For others, it's easier to bury it deep inside and pretend like nothing's happened at all. Still, others may take a different route, such as -"

"Pushing people away in an attempt to self-isolate?" Hope questioned, crossing her arms as she met the councillor's gaze. Clearly, the Mikaelson didn't want to be there, "Because everyone they love is in perpetual danger, which often results in them becoming perpetually dead." Hope continued, rolling her eyes as she glanced towards Wolfgang, who was watching her curiously, fighting off a smile, "See? There. That's it. That's my therapy."

"I'm afraid not, Hope, because the point is we can all do better at processing the traumas we've been through." Emma replied and Wolfgang rolled his eyes, sitting up straight as he cleared his throat, "My method of processing is just fine. Rage, murder, violence. It's worked for seven hundred years, I'm sure it'll work for the rest of eternity."

"Yes, those methods may work, but they aren't necessarily healthy, or working towards giving you the closure you need." Emma replied and Wolfgang smiled fakely at her, hiding his true emotions as he fought off the guilt that crept up inside of him, "You sound like Camille, who was the last person to go anywhere near my trauma. Didn't work out well for her."
