Wolfgang pulled away slowly from the woman in his arms, blood dribbling down his chin as his fangs left the blonde's neck. He took her in and licked his lips before noticing Hope staring at him over the girl's shoulder. Wolfgang sighed and looked deep into the blonde woman's eyes.
"Sorry about this. It's not you, It's me. Now, forget about me and this encounter." Wolfgang compelled her as the woman snapped to attention. He withdrew a few notes from his wallet and handed it to the woman in question, "Also, buy yourself something nice."
The woman walked away as Wolfgang wiped the blood away from his mouth with a handkerchief. The vampire approached the young Mikaelson witch and turned to her as Alaric joined them.
"Landon's bracelet flagged up in there." Hope stated, pointing at the door to the house. Wolfgang nodded and walked up to the door but Alaric called him back.
"What are you going to do, charge in guns blazing?" The headmaster asked with a sigh. Wolfgang shrugged his shoulders.
"Guns blazing, fangs out. Kill someone and then get drunk." Wolfgang replied. Hope nodded and smiled as she walked forwards.
"Sounds good to me," Hope added before chanting a quick spell that blew the door off of its hinges, "Patere."
Hope stormed inside with Wolfgang following and looked around the house with surprise, the regular family within staring back with equal shock. Wolfgang reached down to the letterbox of the door and withdrew Landon's bracelet from it. Hope sighed, taking it out of his hands and walked off.
**********
Wolfgang was driving towards the house that Hope's location spell highlighted. Besides him was the tribrid herself and the tired headmaster slept in the back of Wolfgang's Aston Martin. Hope turned to the driving vampire with a curious look.
"The girl from before. Why did you let her go?" The auburn-haired teen questioned. Wolfgang sighed and fiddled with the daylight ring on his middle finger.
"I'm trying to teach myself restraint," Wolfgang replied, referring to not only his bloodlust but his newfound infatuation with the Mikaelson witch. Hope nodded and watched the road as they pulled up beside a burnt-out home.
Wolfgang narrowed his eyebrows at the police tape that had cordoned off the area before the car was approached by an employee from what appeared to be a gas company.
Wolfgang rolled down the window and immediately sensed something off about the man. He tried to reach out psychically but was met with nothing. Wolfgang frowned and turned to the employee.
"Know who lived here?" the employee questioned, the hunter shook his head and tapped his hand against the steering wheel, "No, sorry. Me and my girlfriend, Jessica, were just passing through."
Hope bit her lip as Wolfgang called her his girlfriend. She knew that it was just a story to protect her identity but the thought appealed to her nonetheless. Wolfgang sighed and nodded towards the house, "Do you happen to know what happened?"
"Gas leak. Took out quite a bit of the neighbourhood." The dark-haired man responded, pointing at the house. Ryan Clarke was suspicious of the two people in the car, especially the well dressed vampire with the old world accent. Wolfgang nodded and pointed to the road.
"Well, we're looking for the highway, going to visit Jessica's family. Perhaps you could point us in the right direction?" Wolfgang asked and the employee obliged. As the car pulled away towards the highway, Wolfgang shook his head and turned to Hope and the recently awoken Alaric.
